Sian lost the Capital, and is truly out of it now. He's earned my respect for staying engaged all this time though.

Seems I spoke to soon, and cooler heads did prevail.

Looks like the Viking-Ottoman relationship is breaking down. Though, given the Fire Sale, this is inevitable. We just might see them move towards being openly belligerent towards each other sooner rather than later.

I just hope for Pin's sake he doesn't trade iron to Sian, or he's going to isolate the last civ with clout he's friendly with.

Any idea what Yuris is up to? Or what he even can do at this point to stay relevant in the game?

Perhaps it might behoove him to gain some territory by jumping on the Rego dogpile, or he could conspire to seize some from Gaspadore while they're otherwise engaged. If nothing else, he could turtle up and start gunning for culture. However, that will be extremely hard on this map I feel though.

With Sian's capital gone, I think Pindicator will see the short-sightedness of that move... I hope so anyway. He's already in a diplo pickle, everyone has reason to dislike him:

-Lying to GasCom all along
-Attacking Yuri
-Selling troops to crimp Rego's plans.

With a few false moves, Pin could end up being the one on the short end of a dogpile. Rego's just smooth enough to flip that omelet too.

Dogpile on Pin... with who? Sian's dead, Yuri is neutered, GaspCom will never ally with the runaway. All it will do is weaken the dogpile on Rego.

Agreed. In a normal game, Pin's double dealing would get him dogpiled by now. But fortunately for him, there's no one left to dogpile him.

I thought Rego was a bit absentminded (and/or cocky) when he agreed in the first place. I'm not surprised he's trying to recover. I think you can claim honor while delaying the return because there was never any repayment schedule specified. You don't have 200g to spare at this time...

It could be me reading a little too deeply into your comment, but I think it might be tad spoilerish because you imply:

1. Rego had no ulterior plans in loaning the cash.
2. Gaspadore is definitely going after Rego, and not Yuris or turning on Pin.

Which wouldn't exactly be newsflashes as far as Pindicator is concerned, but could potentially be read as lurker confirmation that nothing fishy is going on.

Nah, I would just leave it as is. You're right that adding a disclaimer would only attract more attention. Pin has probably already seen it.

1. Free Market + Corporations + Organized Courthouses
2. State Property + Caste System + Workshop Spam

Well, looks like GasCom seek an instant return on their berserk investment. They want SIX cities from Rego for a 30t NAP. Gee whiz, that's even more than Yuri gave up!

Being the rank opportunists that we are, we could be persuaded to move our hungry berserkers in a different direction, but only for the right price. The right price would be:
