Civ 5 BNW has a nifty method of seeing the exact tech advantage, like shown below me vs. Jkaen. It's hilarious that I can't check the same for Azza, since Jowy embargoed him . I can post the demos next turn when my GA ends.

I will get a great scientist next turn, and will also soon complete RA with Jkaen. It's ironic that Jkaen actually speeds up my access to artillery.

So Azza gained 4 of his 7 Cities from Jowy. Lets hope Jkaen is equally friendly But with a 11 (or does he have some techs you don't know about-?) tech lead he shouldn't pose that great a problem. The tradescreen is nice for that but the demos will most likely not help much as you will be the Nr 1 in tech.

RA completes with Jkaen and it's now 5 turns until artillery. I'm starting to wonder if it would make more sense to go against Azza first with the foreign legionnaire + artillery, since he's more advanced in tech. Geographically Jkaen is better choice, but war against Azza could potentially take him by surprise. I feel confident I could defend easily against Jkaen even if he'd join the party, since he's so behind in tech.

I don't know how easily you can move your units towards Azzas capital/core. If I see it right Azza has the great wall which makes moving rather slow.

Showing up with arties and Legionaires is of course enough to kill whomever you target.

Yes, Azza has the great wall. Still, especially his closest city probably wouldn't be too bad with the help of 3 range artillery.

Mother Sky does look tasty. And your ally Zanzibar is well positioned too

The factories are finished and I get to choose the two free tenets. Going for freedoms 25% GP generation + half food from specialists. Foreign legionnary will arrive next turn. Still got to get some artillery out before they can be put to action.

Azza reached industrial era, so that makes things at the world congress a bit more complicated. Here's hoping that Jowy holds a grudge against Azza and I get to stay as the host . I actually lost ally status with zanzibar this exact turn, and even though I also connected marble, it will register on the next turn... I could have spent the money to get them as allies right away, but I'd rather save it for the future war.

I'm sending my spy to Antwerp in case I can pull a coup there and steal some votes from Azza right before the vote for world religion takes place



And finally update on demos. Jkaen is rising up in power but seriously lacking in tech. I wonder what he has in mind

I'll have to see if Azza has any scouts on the neutral ground, north of Poznan. No fancy plans war plans, just beeline from south and east at the same time towards Mother sky.

Techwise I'm now beelining towards Replaceable parts and great war infantry. So Electricity -> Rifling -> Steam Power.
