Greatest start evaaar... oh wait, I'm not India right?
So I need AH first, with a quick BW second. Guess that means a Hunting/Mining or Agri/Mining leader would be best.

Overview T16:
Crazily good start when I compare it to my PB-starts. Which certainly is due to the mapscripts used for PBEMs and PBs. Anyhow, I have pastured Pig and Sheep already, will finish Furs soonish. Also I will get BW soon, which will help with the decision where to settle. There are like 10 different locations to go to.
I strongly consider SH as well. A city 1S of the gold, another on the stone. But that would be expensive in city maintenance. Also there is marble to the south, which put MoM in reach if I go for a quick Calendar. But I'm not sure. Only 4 turns left to decide though. I want to push out like only settlers. That's probably what I will do in any case, get settlers and workers like crazy (I miss EXP from Joao, I can tell you).

It's T37. I'm up to 4 cities now, but only 3 workers. Krill being on my eastern flank had me settling sub-optimally to say the least. I've taken no picture, but if you look at the T16 screenie, on the eastern part is a horse. I've settled 1NE of it on the hill. That is blocking a 1-tile wide strip to Krills mainland. Everywhere else he has to go around the sea that blocks us from each other. Positive of this spot is only that he can't boat me while I can if I build a fort. We'll see if I ever do that.
3rd city has gone on the desert above the clams in the south. Not the best spot either but I needed something to close the gap between my capital and the second city. And lastly 4th city has gone on the tile 1W of the improved sheep, to grab horse. copper is unfortunately in an absolute horrible spot that I will have to take nevertheless very soon. For now I had to do a detour to Archery instead to be save. I now have 2 archers, 2 warriors and a chariot in the border-city and feel secure there.
Next plan is to get Sailing -> Writing -> Maths -> Calendar most likely. Especially as Thoth finished Oracle this turn. I finished SH this turn as well, so I'm happy I could deny that to him, even more so as it helps me expand more easily. What I am going to do now. Just have to limp to CoL somehow (already up to 12 gold costs per turn for city maintenance...).
Demos:
I actually am ok with them, considering I got SH as well AND had to deal with Krill (as can be seen by my soldier-count). Still keeping up, even though I work unimproved tiles. That should hopefully be improved soon with Granaries and cottages going up + the gold soon bringing another happy in. But first it will go down because I will have to whip 2nd and 3rd city down to 2 pop again, to finish in each city 2 workers, getting them up to 7 for then most likely 5-6 cities.
edit: Demos are from before I ended turn btw, I grew 2 pop when I did. City-sizes were 3,2,2,2 when I took the screenie and are now 4,3,2,2.

Gah, Ichabod has a settler up north, directly next to the fish that I just netted this turn. If he settles there, I have to kill that city soon, because it allows naval strikes on a city of mine, it will sooner or later take the fish from me and it is in general plain annoying. I intentionally left the spot unsettled to signal I want to fights with him, but I guess he didn't get the message. *sigh* I just hope that Krill at least got my 'message' that I don't want to fight him. Thoth and Seven are running away with the game (Thoth more so than Seven, though that is partially for all the wonders he has and from my own experience I know that those carry you a bit, but won't suffice on their own, so it remains to be seen if his empire management around those is good enough).
