Amica continues to pull everything into one stack outside his capital. So Powell was left with just one spear:

We lost a knight at 70%
But we kept the city because Amica doesn't have any units in range to threaten. In addition, he's played his turns very quickly now. The city comes with a granary and lighthouse intact so losing the sugar to Tarkeel's culture isn't that big of a deal.
Then a settler that had been moving up from the core finally arrived, and we settled our 17th city: Cirque (of the) Towers.

EDIT: I forgot to explain this name. This is going to be this summer's backpacking trip: to Wyoming's famous Windy Range and the Cirque of the Towers backpacking loop. I've never backpacked in Wyoming before and it's Grizzly territory but I'm looking forward to this.
Eventually settlers will come in to settle on the plains hill and east of the corn.
If I had 20-30 knights I would consider moving to hit his stack directly and try to flank away all of his catapults. But we only have 8 total. I am going to whip rather heavily to get a lot more out, but that will still take time (and Hitru disagrees).
Though we might not get that far if Tarkeel doesn't hold up to Plemo's Berserkers. Comm sent back this:

We're never going to build infrastructure this game, are we?
Well, we did build a much needed one this turn. We were finally able to get out of the bad decision that was Mercantilism and into Org Rel:

This led to a few whips. Saddle Mountain whipped its granary since it was going to starve anyway, and a knight was whipped in a filler city. But the biggest whip was at the capital:

That will be another 20+gpt for whipping off 2 plains hills and a plains cottage.
Demos, since we haven't shown that in some time:

After this GA I'm going to whip up a lot of knights and finish off Amica.
