Not too much happening. New city at copper/stone Bobolyn (a fool). Barb warrior is still coming. The current builds are on track and workers are working. We are saving up for writing.

Not too much happening right now. Workers working. Settler and Galley EOT72 for the west.

Looking at using 3 forest for a stonehenge chop in Poltroon. Can be completed t78. We'll see if it falls before then.

New possibilities for Mids in the cap too. Haven't done the full out calculations on that yet.

NoGas and I have been discussing specific issues in our group chat so our discussions haven't been showing up here as much as maybe we might like. It's tough for me to try and get the discussion in here given how in depth it is and how much time I'm already spending reporting this and PBEM 78. If Gaspar or Noble would like to pick some clips from discussion that'd be fine. Really only from the sections where Gaspar is engaging both of us since just me and noble haranguing each other makes for boring fare.

Here's his lordship:

We found Jowy. Good placement for us to consume SD and then move onto Jowy.

T74 Overview

We did some tile finagling to get cap to grow in 2t and you can see our setttler on the galley is on his way. We started a chariot in Gnash to use to scout SD's lands. His warrior is over by Scobberlotcher.

Poltroon is working the gold mine now and we also have gold connected. Next turn we will have 3 workers move to the 3 forests around Poltroon and we will chop them into Henge t78. Will henge fall before then? Dunno! But it's low risk set up and higher payoff. If we get it, Great! If not? We get a bit of fail gold and we chop a few forests into a granary and walls maybe.

and Demos:

We have to do something about our tech rate. We have 3 cottages being worked and 2 new cottages being built and plans to cottage more. Hey man let's turn that frown upside down.

It's funny how every time Lewwyn and I get into a micro discussion you can see the difference in philosophy between my intuition and his. lol

Well it's blended fine, no?

T75, 76, 77 They all were quick and I didn't get to update right away. But I can walk it through.

T75 there wasn't many decisions. We have barb Spear incoming so our axe should be good for more XP. Also settler galley is on the move.

T75 Demos:

Then T76:

Killed the spear, axe at 6xp. Hopefully we can get some more barb spawns up there and feed the axe to 10xp. Galley reveals sheep! We set the settler between the sheep and the fish:

Hey there's gold in them there hills! We need another settler ASAP. And maybe an exploration unit and a worker. We can get a worker from north of Poltroon and I start the axe moving towards there too.

T77

We settle Dalcop (a very stupid person) and see that there is a fish even more east that can only be got by settling on the gold or sheep. But maybe there is more land 2E of the fish as well.

I move the galley to reveal an extra tile without thinking about the worker ramification and we delay pasturing the sheep by 1t. I wonder if this is Noble's micro conflict. Either way it'll be fine. We are able to get the axe and worker and drop them off in time to pick up the settler for the new gold.

Settler completes in Gillie EOT and the galley finishes the next then its off to Amica's sheep island to snag that with a spear. And possibly control the fur island north of that. Need settlers. Probably grow on an archer in gillie and the at 5 start another settler for fur island, OR the island north of Gillie that we haven't explored.

Note that AT has met us with a WB by SD and Civac has defogged TRs to us. We are behind in circumnav and exploration since the scout died to my mistake.

Also Stonehenge in Poltroon is a possibility. If no one build Henge end of this turn 77, we complete t78 and are guaranteed at least a coinflip. popcorn

2nd in food. We're doing what we can. More cottages are being worked and we have 2c TRS now. LET"S LIMP TO CURRENCY!

Just thinking about the game. We need to expand to the furs, tech to currency and elephants and eat SD. Then consolidate and tech up. We’re headed for miss, but if we don’t land it we should think about MOM. We also need to get an exploring WB (I know I swapped to a settler in ragga) and get to circumnavigate which is just free money...

T79 is ready to play, but I'll report t78 before getting to it.

Civac got Stonehenge. shakehead Beat us by a turn and he's ahead in cities, he's going strong.

SD has built a library in his horse city which is not great for us since we didn't get Henge. We likely will have to compensate with our own library or monument to maintain those FPs. Or we just build Ballista Elephants and render that moot.

One chop went into a granary, the other 2 workers moved to cottage and quarrying.

In the north we are cottaging and growing and putting some hammers into mids. I think we need math before we chop the whole capital, but I'm thiking about the plan.

This is interesting:

One of Amica's new cities in the barb city we saw a long while ago. oer there in the west. It's possible he could have a new settler in him. But Wow there is a lot of mainland for him to go after here between him and civac and Jowy.

We keep on keeping on. Galley with settler is away. We'll see if Amica wants to fight us for the island. I wonder if the maintenance is going to be high... Gotta get to the furs though so that we can work my cottages. Still building them

AT wardecced to move his boat but unfortunately for him we have a galley there. Now I don't think we will mess our galley's micro but he might get spooked and run off the other way.

Comm has an exploring WB by our new island, so I guess that means there's a route for our soon to be explorer WB to go that way.

Another Barb warrior NE. That looks like an 1 xp point.

Here's what Cumberworld looks like atm. We're starting Mids, but it's going to be a while. I don't have a plan yet, but I'm just going to dump hammers into it for the moment. Maybe we get a worker whip overflow into it. After Bobo grows to 3 or 4 we can give the wheat back here. Also can give the sheep back after Ragga finishes its settler whip. Grow as whip unhappy fades and start a worker whip set up.

Goddamn we're poor...

Need to defog more routes and explore more. There's a chariot started in both Gnash and Gillie to explore our neighbors, and get some trade routes to other people so that we're not just providing routes but getting some cash money back.

Look Civac is doing super well. But we're at least in 2nd for MFG and Food. We are not in a terrible position, only our econ is hindering us. If we can get to currency and matuure some cottages, things are going to start looking up a lot more. Let's get some elephants and abuse them.

Well Amica settled up on us, now we're getting ready to return the favor:

We'll settle t83 and the worker will be pasturing the sheep then too.

Amica is on the border here with an axe spear and worker. Probably nothing. We have a archer that we'll send to the island in a couple turns as well. Then the galley gets back to pick up another settler. We are debating whether to go get the furs there or go north to the unexplored island. The WB out of gillie will explore that for us before we make the final decision.

We lead in MFG! Still second in food. GNP don't look at me. We have a bunch of cottages being worked, just need more. But yeah GNP is PRETTY BAD.

Logged in to take a look around...

Someone finished the Oracle, I would guess Gavagai but don't know for sure.

Our exploring leaves a bit to be desired.  Anyway, I made a stich of our lands just because I find it impossible to follow when I just listen to Lewwyn talk about the game.
