I've worked with Ramk on a lot of problems during PBs.
- Changing the map, no problem
- Change game options, already done
- Giving barracks happiness for AGG leaders, was done as a bugfix in PB52
- Reduce trade routes for one specific player. Also done in PB52
- Run doom inside Civ4, work in progress
But seriously we and mostly Ramk can do almost everything.

Are we expecting to be patching this mod constantly while the game is ongoing? If not, then I don't see much difference between a PB and PBEM.
Regardless, I've played and passed latest version of the save, and confirmed that the preferred no diplo option is set.

PBEM 78 vs. PB 54 hmmmmm
Sure, but this is also the only Civ4 PBEM that's active right now.

Yeah, the previous PBEM (77) finished in Jan 2018. PB38 had not even started yet at that point, and we're now at PB54. But I'm happy to be playing non-simultaneous personally, and for that it makes little difference between PBEM and sequential PB so I have no issues with it. A nice change of pace to not have to worry about double moving people and running into awkward situations.
I will again ask for the possibility of a blitz/joint session this upcoming weekend though. I'm fine with aiming for 1 turn a day going forwards, but for these starting turns it would be nice to get them over with quickly. I'm available at any reasonable hour CEST. I'm in quarantine anyway so I can't really go anywhere.

Turn is passed on. I think I'll be available during the weekend, though I have some stuff planned in the afternoon EST on Saturday.

Since this came up elsewhere recently, I figure we should address it as well while its way too early to matter...
Feeling on unit gifts? I sort of presume off since we decided city trading off, but best to not presume. We are obviously opposed given my overwrought rants about it in previous games but will of course go along with whatever the consensus is. Regardless of how we decide, better for us all to be on the same page before it becomes relevant.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
