I think this is legal, but I do want to have another opion.

I believe the norm is that what he did was legal but a gray area because you were not actually at war. So yes in your case, declaring 1T early would have been an acceptable way to prevent that.

However, in this case I think it worked out in your favor if the axe is dead and unable to retreat to his capital, so maybe it's not so bad?

Yes, winning the 65% battle made the whole point irrelevant.
I wouldn't be able to raze the city anyway - the warrior on the hill could have moved in the city, so there would be still 2 units to fight and 3 units last turn.

Still, I had a 3 EP vulture coming up, so I would be able to fight with a shock vulture against the axe. This would mean additional 15% or so ?

My bad, I should have declared earlier - and I did thought about such things, because I did act similar in a few cases.

And yes, if TBS got pre-emptive dog piled, you can't expect a good showing.

And if he still comes ahead of his enemies ?

Still a problem for later. TBS is on the other continent and has Mjmd as problem.
If the other continent is a cramped as our, I do think the rush from Mjmd shouldn't have longterm problems.

And I forgot, I razed Greenlines copper city this turn.
So 2-3 axemen from greenline, I think ?
2 from the capital, maybe one from the second city.
And 1-2 warriors.

I have 3 vultures at the moment. 1 vulture and 1 spear (protection against surprise chariots) are coming up.

Not enough to raze the capital, I think, but enough to keep Greenline from connecting copper.

I marched fourth.
Only one axe from greenline ?
I don't have enough to capture the capital in 2 turns, but after that with all 5 vultures ?

Okay. In addition to my invasion greenline has barb trouble.
This is a reason to be happy about my small backline.

One warrior is enough to fogbust my backline.

Anyway, I'm first with 4 cities, I have the strongest army right know and greenline needs to decided where to put the axe.
The second unit in Lloyd is a settler. So one city should fall next turn.

Okay, the shock axe is a surprise.
From are is greenline getting the XP ?

Anyway, vodka says ~ 66% to win, I do have to try it.
MS whipped the city this turn. This should be an archer. There enough time for a warrior.
I don't really fear archers, but I do need 2 vulture to kill a archer. So that would delay this war quite a while. So I have to try.

First vulture lost, but nearly 90% for the second ?

The third vulture against the warrior was only a formality.

Thanks for the congratulations.
And Barbs are a good point.
Greenlines backline is a way bigger than I thought at first.
I have place for 2 cities. One fogbuster is enough till I have to contend with ships.
Greenline has place for 5 cities ?

And I think I killed more barbs already than units from greenline.

I really need more settlers and workers. Greenline did deleted 3 workers.
Maybe even a few chariots to explore the backline, I don't think I should wander there with my vultures.
