Slowly creep up on Scooter, conquer every bit of territory i can, keep trebs in some fun places.. Then consolidate and eliminate Bob or Scooter. Might lean towards Bob, as im pretty close to Scooter right now, and i want him to still be able to afford SOME units to fight against CH.

I fucked up, and Bob can likely hold his position with reinforcements for awhile. I just hope he doesnt have a very large bankroll and i can pop another dragon this next turn and start burning his troops. ( i screwed up by not noticing he moved a spear into a forest, AND not just attacking his flier with the mage on flat ground.. Now, my mage is a 400 gold waste as it can get shot by a archer, and killed by a spear. Yay. Although if he does that he cannot spot AND kill my injured dragon. Hoping to pick off what i can while i wait on my own reinforcements moving from the scooter/center front.

Speaking of the scooter front.. ive managed to kill, and capture 2 of his towns. Im going to stop there as my trebs can protect against attacks/kill the village if its taken allllllll day. plus it brings me upto 1200 GPT, enough to get a golem every turn, OR almost enough for a dragon every turn. Now, a golem sounds pretty nice to have on the bob front. However, the main issue on the bob front is he will have his groove the Next turn ( not this turn ) and he will be able to kill 3-4 low hp spears, or he can save it for a later time. I dont know what he will do in this situation, and im curious on his thoughts. I really still like my chances, i just have to focus all my effort on the Bob front, and let Scooter live a little longer.

In alot better position now. Ive burned through most of Bob's attack force, He... has to retreat his commander, but i dont think he has to use his groove yet. If he uses his groove to jump away, i can push forward next turn with a giant built. If he uses the groove to attack, or doesnt retreat.. he's pretty well dead. Or close enough, that i would give chase. I have Scooter on a lock. He cannot break my siege without some Wonder-army.. And i can destroy his HQ barracks. This all is likely helping CH stay competitive in his corner of the world. I have alot of actual units, and 50 units counting "towns/barracks/ect.. " With a bank roll of 1200.. i can pop a giant every single turn. I dont think anyone has the bankroll to counter it. They would need perfectly positioned Trebs + both Scooter/Bob countering with a larger force than i see all at once. CH is going to have to be super quick to capture Bob/Scooter lands when/if i destroy them both. Otherwise a concession to myself is likely in order.. I partly blame the map ( that i chose smoke ) and the other part is on my neighbors for not building trebs/dogs of their own. Ive literally seen less dogs from BOTH Scooter, and Bob than i built on one side. They are the best unit other than trebs in FoW.

Im seeing a 3-way alliance required to beat me back at this point tbh. I can lock down Scooter with what i have built easily. Bob just requires me to build 1-2 trebs and he cannot advance any further. Any lurkers want to push them towards concession yet? popcorn

If you notice on the right/scooter side. he has a spear/swordsman in a semi threatening position to my forces, but i dont know what he is going to do. He can build a dog and get visibility on my forested units, but he cant punch thru them. He will just lose units and damage mine in return.. Not a good trade. Now in the center, i screwed up the building of a spear and it cannot defend the town if he attacks from the south side of it. However, its unlikely he can capture/should even try when it looks like CH captured "his" center bottom barracks. If bob doesnt commit anymore units im very likely to just build a treb in the center and bring it down to cover that barracks. 1north of that Scooter spear should be the sweet spot. VERY hard to get to, without a flier AND can one shot that barracks every turn. Love treb crits. Speaking of treb crits.. I can crit cap Scooter in 3 turns with just the treb.

Plan : Treb kills Scooter HQ barracks, move dog forward, move spears forward. Next turn move treb to only spot it can hit the HQ from.. which is also a crit. Should be able to crit and kill scooter with Treb+ dog/spears.

got a rare double turn in, getting pinched a bit due to some bad combat rolls. ( while i like random 1-5% difference, it really REALLY screws up planning. ) Failed to kill a dog with a treb, which made me use a dog to finish it off.. which found out that Scooter has his commander + dog coming from that direction. I have him pretty well blocked from getting out of his west entrance, but he has a flier giving me some grief that made me spend some gold on a mage, that i wanted to spend elsewhere.. He also, ( knowing full well i can take them back np ) Spent 2 spears, and a dog killing 2 towns. Can he afford to take 200 gold for one turn away from me, at the cost of 500 gold of his?

Finally found CH, he's rocking the secret commander that is the evil mercia. His groove IS up, which allows him to steal hp, and heal himself in a big cross.. Basically a combo of Sigrid + mercia. He's advancing up the middle with a couple soldiers. Im hoping he and scooter continue to fight, so i can stabilize. I need 1 more treb in the center/right, and 2 in the south to be called "stable". I will lose 1 town before my next turn, so with a income of 1100 i can afford 1 per turn, +  a spear replacement. Also, due to bad luck on combat rolls.. One of Bob's units survived and i couldnt get a full surround on his commander. However, i did enough damage to FORCE him to FINALLY move his damn commander out of my territory. And once it is out, that barracks will be pumping golems until i have 2-3 and then i will force my way into his HQ, and burn it to the ground. hammer

GG bob, I must say, i really didnt realize how unfair the map is to some positions. That said, you put up a really good fight. Although, im still kicking myself for you living that first time..


Anyway, im going to consoldiate as much of bob's stuff as i can, build dragons/golems with my overwhelming income.. and smash.

Im a tad bit bored, and im hoping this game gets called soon.. so i figure id run a tally for wins so far.
WG1- Ended, but general consensus was a Superdeath win.
WG2- Ended, but general consensus was a Superdeath win.
WG3- Teamer, Bob + Superdeath won. ( wagons op )
WG3.5 FFA- Still going, Bob eliminated; CH + Scooter vs Superdeath?
WG4 - Just started.

Now if only i could take this track record to Civ 4.. frown

Im slightly worried about a witch coming out of the tower that CH has..  he has a mage 1N of the barracks in the center. I decided not to attack/kill any scooter units this turn.. and hope he realizes that i spared his HQ barracks. I did this, because there was ALOT of fighting in the fog, which i can only presume is right near Scooter's HQ. Im winning the Bob front, unless he has a massive anti-air/commander army down here. I have the center barracks under lockdown.. He can continue the fight with the spears he has, and of course.. knock down my barracks. But he will suffer HEAVY losses. This might turn into a very long game. With both of us controlling roughly half of the map. I think i have the better position, but CH has alot of options for attack.

Also, i will likely say goodbye to my 1hp dog that i moved into a forest right next to a spear.. cry
