Your not wrong, but as has been discussed with a couple different changes, its just so ingrained at this point to have access. Would seem to make 100% sense for a no score mod game. Other option would be to further delay # of turns until things updated. Now would you also affect demos then? Top power is obviously pretty easy to track even for noobs.

Civilopedia appears to be bugged if accessing from the title screen; the list of buildings doesn't load and at least one civilization caused a CTD every time I clicked on it. Works fine if accessing in-game.
You need to download the 1.4.1 version which fixes this bug. Charriu should change the link at the top of the download thread to point to this version instead of the original 1.4 version.

I recommend replacing the link in the first post then, as I doubt I'm the only person who didn't scroll to the end to see if the download link at the start of the post was in fact not the one I was supposed to use.
