How many cannons have you got?

Ill have 2-3 next turn. The cannon-building cities currently consist of the cities that were set to 3-4t catapults, so it will take them a smidge longer. Got 2 heavy production cities finally done growing and starting to pump Cannons and eventually rifles/cavs ect as well. HE city will build whatever mounted unit i can and then hold off on promo's till Commando is available mischief

Also i noticed that Drydocks gives 7!!! xp in this version of RTR. I assume its to further counteract krill's stupid ocean movement crap, but that seems excessive. ANYWAY, the Moai city will have 17xp or so boats.

VERY curious to see how demos look after the golden age.

I do know that most of the cities that have any production will be cranking out Rifles/cavs/cannons to catch up with Raskol's exploding power, while we head for Railroad to nicely win this pitboss. (How you might ask? Because of this giant chunk of land... we need Railroads to place a center stack and defend from. Also, MG's are stupid awesome stack defenders vs someone(s) that will take awhile to reach Rifles/anything higher than rifles. )

How high is Raskol's power? Has TBW been slamming cocktails, or has he been pumping units? Find out below!

Slamming cocktails. THEY EVEN HAD OPEN BORDERS, and he doesnt appear to have been making any units. Yeah, even if he tried to bribe Raskol with a tech to go after Cairo instead... the power graph says why not eat and digest while we still hammer out GKC?

3t on my NAP with Raskol. Im keeping a VERY close eye on that damn stack of his, and will start having EP vision on his cities to prevent a random stack of mounted striking any of my cities. Rifles is the immediate soft-counter to his monster stack, with Railroad being the ultimate "hahahaha" to it. Also, Railroad and as soon as i get Military Science: Commando, will be the way i win this. Build massive stack of mounted commandos and keep teching till tanks and if they are foolish enough to build railroads... muahahah.

I sincerely believe that they cannot catch me in tech even if they stop trading with me. Time will tell though!

Steam power this turn, save gold, power thru steam power-railroad, save gold/upgrade stuff and then slam commando cavalry into Raskol if he doesnt NAP with me, or Cairo if he does.

Any questions? Anything i dont post, and you want to see?

shades Ive got plans, and i win the long-term battle here.. i just need to make sure i dont get dogpiled before i reach railroad which i can easily reach 20t+ before Raskol if his tech rate is anywhere near sustainable.

Okay, Cairo and i have come up with a decent solution to a problem. He has no tech rate, and wants steel or rifles ( im giving him steel ) I.... dont want to lose a chunk of units capturing the capital. SOO, i will give him steel for him to take the capital down to 1 defender. Meanwhile, im saving for 4t and then cranking out a 7-ish turn railroad which will give my workers something to do. Im still churning out 3 rifles every turn via the draft as i have islands that i can swap between, and i have 4 BIG production cities producing a cavalry/cannon/rifle ect every 2-3t, with a handful of other cities that have "some" production producing cannons. All other cities that have any production are finishing their last build and then swapping to cannon, while everything else ( which is a HUGE chunk of the cities ) either grows to be drafted, or is the capital and just barely makes enough hammers to do anything.

Also in the spoiler you will see TBW and Raskol's stack. I expect TBW's stack to be wiped off the earth either this turn or the next, and im really hoping that despite TBW failing to pump out units while raskol upgraded/cranked out units... im hopeful that Raskol loses at least a chunk of his units + siege. PLEASE.

How did everyone's turkey-day weekend go?

well! im #1 in all the major categories outside of population due to... WW and drafting. Also, TBW and Raskol had their first major battle. While Raskol will eventually win the fight for obvious reasons, i doubt he will take TBW's capital this turn. I REALLY wish i had the cavalry ready to hit Raskol's injured stack right now, but between finishing off GKC... trying not to piss off Cairo/give him an opening, and making sure that Raskol doesnt just rush me before im ready.. I dont have the units on hand. If i knew that Cairo wouldnt tell, id have headed for Military Science already for Commando and sent a stack into Cairo's territory to raze a TON of Raskol's cities.. But the most likely scenario is Cairo tells Raskol and they get butchered by anti-mounted units.

Sorted by production. The Levee should make the HE city 1t everything till factories.

I expect 1-2t from now that this graph will look AMAZING.

ive lost 1st place in production, i believe that is Raskol, but it could be Cairo as his production has been gradually increasing.

couldnt get all 3 draft's this turn, but the next couple turns i have a TON of fishing villages reaching size 8.

Thru negotiation.. we will break thru GKC's city. Im always paranoid that cairo will declare on me and take those 3 cities, and slam into my stack before i can react, but since its Cairo... im not nearly as worried. Im still debating going for MS NOW rather than in 10-11t. If i grab it now (3t tech) i can have roughly 7-8 cav's in range to burn 4 cities t1 of the war with Raskol, with a large stack ready to burn his capital and other cities that dont get reinforced. The ONLY problem, is Cairo is highly likely to say something. But thinking about it... and upon flipping a coin im logging back in to swap to MS to try for a quick win before Raskol consolidates and Cairo.... hopefully wont say anything.

This is my proposed spot to hit as many cities as possible without being seen by Raskol. With the vast majority of the cav's focusing on hitting the mid's city and then burning the Stonehenge and capital cities. If i can pull this off... that should secure me the win... RIGHT?

Keeping an eye on his stack, its got to heal at least for a couple turns, and maybe he will focus on finishing off TBW's island cities? Either way, swapping to MS will at least hopefully cripple Raskol's production/research power enough to pull off the win. AT THE VERY LEAST, i get to use Commando for the first time in a multiplayer match.
