Unsurprisingly, there was a warrior in Delhi, so I just moved away back to do more scouting. Well, at least i slowed down the growth curve (maybe) for the strongest techer in the game!

ok - so, catwalk went first, not last so turn order wasn't an issue.

And it looks like all did was get in the way of his scouting - he's got 39 hammers into his cap, which is a worker. Well, could be a settler, but I'm sure it's a worker...

I have to refigure the demos. I don't understand what I'm seeing, though I think someone built a 3rd warrior and someone (Catwalk, I think) lost a warrior at some point.

Really, though, I think I'm confused.

ok - figured out the soldiers stupidity. thestick only started with 1 warrior, of course, so started with just 4K soldiers (hunitng and a warrior)

kjn started out with 10K (2 warriors, mining, the wheel)
catwalk with 6K (2 warriors and mining)

On turn 4, kjn got a tech and 2 soldiers, so 12, 6, 4.

that's either hunting, or fishing and a warrior. Given that he's size two, I think he went warrior/workboat and that his first tech was fishing.

So, situation is:

catwalk has mysticism, mining, BW. 2 warriors, size 1.
kjn has Mining, Wheel, fishing, 3 warriors and 2 pop
thestick has hunting, agri, AH and 2 warriors.

I'd guess that catwalk is going to chop out another worker while he gets agri and fish. Or, I've screwed something up.

2 turns left to AH. KJN got another tech, but no soldiers, so I presume he's researched fishing and agri in some combination. Actually, i think he went agri/fishing, though I'm not sure.




I haven't been using the screenshot tag - this is that - do you guys like it better than IMG? (note the subtle way I try to get a lot of talk in my thread, thus driving my opponents crazy with fear/jealousy)

Anyway - that's my exploration. I'm keeping the CG3 warrior nearby and not on flat - animals should be appearing and it would totally suck to have that killed by a bear. I set up what I think will be the next 3 exploration spots for those units.

My Initial thought is the grassland SW of the horses. Obviously, I need more exploration before I decided for sure

well, catwalk is sending his CG III warrior towards me, which seems like an odd choice. Granted, it does get a 10% bonus vs. other warriors, but still... seems like you'd want to leave it at home where it makes you basically invulnerable. I dunno.

He sent his warrior away again. I shall still move my CG III warrior to my cap and my other warrior in a circle to better scout the horse site.

So, not many updates, as this part of the game is generally really boring Especially now, as I'm basically moving units along explored territory.

I'm apparently doing a vertical strategy - I'm the only one at size 3.

I'm going to keep growing until I get BW, whip out another worker and then whip/chop a settler. I should be size 4 by the time I'm ready for another worker, with 3 warriors.

Well you are Charismatic, it makes vertical more appealing. Plan on making an Obelisk in that capital?
