Build is worker (8t), warrior + growth (5t), worker2 (5t), warrior2 + 4h into henge + growth (2t), settler (6t)
Tech order: AH (8t) Agriculture (5t) Mining (4t) Wheel (4t) BW (5t)
Worker 1: move to pigs (2), pasture (3), move to sugar (1), farm (4), move to gold (1), mine (3), road (2), road S of city (2)
Worker 2: move NE (1), road (2), road sheep (2), pasture sheep (3)
t27 we revolt to slavery and settler moves to the roaded hill. t28 the second city is settled N of the sheep and it's already improved. (It was in borders since t13 due to CRE.)
Capital most likely produces a second settler while we research pottery. worker2 camps the ivory and mines the roaded hill. worker1 prepares for city3.
Wait, crap, I forgot about a wasted turn by worker 1 that means the gold mine will be a turn late. That costs 6-7 commerce which puts me solidly under the necessary beakers required to get BW in time for the slavery revolt with settler moving.
So I think my best plan is actually agriculture first, then. By farming the sugar before pasturing the pig, I lose 6fh but gain 1 worker turn (on the wrong worker, so not that important) and, more pertinently, save a turn of research (~13 modified beakers) into AH. The extra beakers are enough to cover the deficit, so we can still do the desired BW revolt. The cost, as mentioned, is 6fh, which ends up meaning that instead of a warrior and 3h into henge (I wrote 4 but it should be 3), I get 7h into something. (Is a warrior worth it if I'm building 1-2 settlers afterward, or should I just go for the henge gold? I think the latter.)
Oh, glad you like the screenshot editing, guys.

Yeah, I'm not happy about my past behaviour either.

This screenshot editing is spiraling out of control. I was planning on just using them for information, not humor. Maybe it's the font.

+1 for the graphic novel. You always have novel ideas for threads, I hope this one lasts longer than 'mysterious adventure'...

As a global lurker: that's awesome! Sorry if you don't feel the same way, lol
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.

I don't have much experience with close starts like this. Krill does. And I know he loves putting culture in border cities. My initial thought is I should settle 1N of the corn ASAP to stop him settling that plains hill and secure a good border city.

You don't have to select a tech t0-4.

Nice trick! Any chance we could get some [screenshot] tags? Gotta scroll to see the whole thing.
