[TECH] Pitboss 40 IT and Tech Issues Thread

Just played, if I don't have to work, my sleeping rhythm can become a bit weird wink

Relatedly, I'm visiting my family for a long weekend. I should be able to play turns while there, if not, I'll let you know.

I'm not sure what timezone the remaining players are in, so I paused just in case.

Thank you RFS-81 (and you too, superdeath). That pause did not turn out to be necessary this time, but thanks. Just so everyone knows, for the remainder of my trip I am not going to be on Alaska time, I will be on Florida time.

I fucked up and automated a unit by mistake last turn (I think) resulting in an action I didn't want to take. I'd like to request a reload to just before i played this turn and the game to be paused so that the action won't just execute again (?); but since it was due to operator error, there is no grounds for a reload except if every other player is feeling merciful. If anyone wants to veto the reload request, I will not object to that.

e: Or maybe, if Magic Science is alright with that as well, it should be reloaded (if granted) to his login save from last turn so that I can log in and cancel the automatization. shallow_thought cannot play today iirc, so at least there would be no time cost if the reload happens, but I understand if anyone wants me to just suck up my mistake.

I'm ok with a reload. At least that way we have an excuse should we lose against you. tongue

My understanding is that physical misclicks that have a noticeable effect are acceptable cause for a reload. Simply making a mistake and realising a bit late generally not, but this is a greens game and I wouldn't be picky about the boundary, once or twice, if impact was low. TLDR I'm ok with a reload this time.

That's reasonable. In case it sways anyone, I can assure you that the action I'm referring to can only have been a misclick, with as much decision-making involved as in, say, choosing not to delete one's starting scout; that the effect has been proven notable (not that this says much, but that's by design) by an earlier post in our thread, and that we'd gain no information from a reload to Magic Science's T25 login save. I'm open to discuss any of this with lurkers in my thread if that's needed.

I dont mind a reload so long as we get a 200 turn peace treaty :P

I am fine with a reload to my Turn 25 login save so that Coeurva can undo their mistake. It will not be a problem to replay my actions on Turn 25.
