I'm disappointed Ichabod apparently had no real reason for pushing my lynch. Or at least none that he sees fit to share. The fact that he repeatedly pictorially pushed me made me feel like he had some sort of case. Apparently just a whim or hunch? Bleh.
This was actually my first proper vanilla villager game in a looooong while. First one at Realms Beyond. I've been either a wolf, a power role or playing a crazy code based night kill baiting day one killed gameplan. I never really got as good a handle on the game as I'd have liked, due to that early difficulty with access, but I think my final suspects still have merit. The prevote seems like a rather sound idea to me, and I don't see why it's being met with such scepticism. It was quite lazy. "oh, the guy we wanted to to lynch is a power role! Let's just lynch who he suspects even though he gives no reason!"

Holy, this was one consuming game. I'm completely lost about who can be scum and I should have switched from Selrahc to Pindicator on the last day. Something clicked to me that Selrahc, pindicator and Meiz were the wolves... I was wrong yet again.
I'm happy that I managed to use all my charges before dying. That's why I claimed, I figured clearing Novice and confirming the PR were more useful than making the Mafia still fear a baner. And I think the Mafia targetted Novice again this night, but I could save him, even without my armor. I'm also happy that, even though I was heavily suspected, I could keep myself alive enough to buy the village some time (especially without needing to claim). My saves bought us 2 mislynches. Bad thing that I kind of wasted them already with bad voting.
One interesting thing that only now occured to me (stupid me) is that I know I protected Injera on night 5, due to the way my Power worked (the armor charges). But there was that thing about it being Rowain who fooled Mafia. This info could give the village some tells, by rereading that part of the game.
I changed my protection from Injera to meiz on night 6 with 5 minutes remaining on the night. One comment by meiz (after night 5) made me think that the scum woulkd think he was the baner and try to get him. I heavily suspected Meiz at that point, so it was very bad play. But, after that, the scum probably thought that I had a limitation of only targetting different people to save each day, which made me able to save Novice twice in night 7 and 8. So it worked all alright, but knowing Injera night result could have helped. That made me act almost like a zombie on day 6, because I was really annoyed at myself. |
