Yeah I actually thought that he got Literature since I didn't notice that he had picked up Drama. Sistine was the obvious guess, but I don't see why he would want that either. Sistine is pretty useless right now given that he doesn't have any religious buildings, and isn't running Mercantilism...he did finish quarrying the marble but hasn't roaded it yet.

rego picked up Sankore and finished Education. Doesn't look like he's attempting to build the AP though. Ruff reclaimed his former Moai city from Ichabod - I forgot to offer him furs for ivory again since he's still getting ivory from scooter. I did grant scooter OB, since he'd be able to rescue his crossbows with the galleons anyway.

I swapped us over to Guilds last turn. We'll finish it next turn. I'm happy to see that scooter isn't going to Gunpowder and not directly for Nationalism. We're also still the only team with PP.

Glad to see that we have peace with scooter.

What are your plans post-war? I would be starting a settler right away to claim a marble source with. And don't worry about the city itself, just plop it down on top of the marble. Aside from that, those islands seem big enough that maybe skipping warfare and keeping a strong navy while REXing onto the islands is the way to go.

I did sort out how to build Taj in RUO with marble - it took 13 or 14 turns with a few worker whips added for overflow. Just in case you want that...

Also, have you revolted back to the Big B?

Nah, no revolt. I definitely didn't want to delay the marble settler and I have a suspicion that my quick calculations the other day are suspect. A settler finished out of RSS and there's a (mostly) efficient galleon chain set up for him:

I hate that one-tile silk island as you'd expect. NHL finished a work boat that's going to go up to IIT, and HC's work boat will be used for a city on the goody island in some fashion. SR is currently building a harbor and has a bunch of units stuffed into it to pacify the populace. We'll likely grow it to size 15-16.

I definitely want to hear about how RUO would build the Taj, for sure. Current plan is to go for Economics (I think we're a lock for this even if rego bulbs Banking with his Merchant, since he still needs Feudalism and Guilds) and probably start a second GA to swap civics and build Taj during it. Either way I want to discourage people from trying to compete for the wonder so we can complete it at the optimum time for us if possible.

Hey so we could declare war on rego and maybe raze a city or two this turn...I'll be online for a while if you want to talk about it.

And of course scooter is pillaging all of Commodore's preplaced forested cottages near us...

What's your eta on reaching economics? I'm thinking it'll be ahead of any Taj attempt, unless you slip in Gunpowder first. And if you're building Taj in the GA then i'd consider building it in SR instead if RUO.

ETA on Economics is about 6-7t. I don't know if we'll keep going for Economics though, we might go for Gunpowder first. I definitely want to hear about your plan before we decide.

Can't do a specific plan without the eot save, but the basic idea is below.
Turn zero is the turn before you hook up marble.
Idea is to work 16hpt base (40 w/ modifiers) and whip workers for max overflow

Okay, well RUO is already size 11 as of last EOT. The current plan is to add the last farm in range and grow to size 12, then add the finally mined iron and grow to size 13. Then I'm not sure. We have enough health for size 14 without penalties currently.

So you're basically saying that we'd whip one worker and then whip the Taj itself for five pop?
