Yeah, unfortunately the timeframe is just awful for here too. I go to sleep 7 hours (!) before the vote deadline, and so much can happen in that time..

Yeah, that's a reasonable concern.

It's a good time for almost all of us in the US or EU - middle of the day or early evening (so while not everyone can write a 2000-word post at the deadline, we can still vote).

I don't think it's possible to have a deadline time that works for all possible time zones, sadly.

I am, yeah. Not sure about WarriorKnight, although I don't think they're here because they've got a few hours on me. Maybe Western Aus.
Australia is horrible for all multiplayer games and you get used to it, but I never thought forum werewolf would be a casualty! 
Edit: I should say, I'm complaining about my own shitty timezone, not the timing of the game. Obviously moving it wouldn't work for everyone else.

An unfortunate truth. Moving the deadline to make it ideal for me would make it not work for either Americans or Europeans, both of which are far more numerous in this forums.

It could work for me if it was 2h earlier. I'm pretty sure that doesn't work for US west coast though, and it doesn't help Amicalola enough either.

I've a lot of experience with TZ deadline issues when I'm in China. It's like nicest when its midnight in China.

Yeah it really sucks, sorry about that. But like Cyneheard said, since US and Europe is the majority, that’s where the deadlines lie.

The only other possible option is to leave days untimed and do hammer voting. Which means, the day doesn’t end until a player gets half + 1 of all possible votes (I.e., in a 17 player Day whoever gets to 9 votes first), and then the day immediately ends. But there’s no certainty to when that will end, and you’ll often have to wait a while longer for a resolution. I can’t remember, have we tried that before?
