You are Dante, Role Seer
Spawn of a devil and an angel, you run a one-man supernatural detective agency. You try to keep the forces of hell from taking over the mortal world. You've seen what happens when mortals get their hands on power that's not meant for them and it always ends in blood and tears. You've temporarily allied yourself with some rather suspicious characters to ensure the quest fails.
You are aligned with scum. Your private thread is here: http://www.quicktopic.com/50/H/rykNG4ZuqjK
You have the following abilities:
Devil Trigger (active): You attempt to kill target player as your factional kill.
Investigate (active): You attempt to learn the name of target player's role
The QT is readable till yesterday.

@mjw read the pm. I had no choose in the matter. Über mixed dmc with devil may cry . I only choose dmc 2 avatar because lore wise dante was the oldest in dmc2.

Formal question. Why the scum are declares winner if there is not scum win rule? According to the rules, the game should end in stalemate with the scum having nobody to kill.

We would kill someone this night. Next day, it would 2 scum vs 2 town. Which is an automatic win.

He's just nitpicking the wording of the rules.

I still have the mega-deception of "nerve stapling" over my head, so I'm always going to be accused or at least wondered of elaborate deceptions, but I'm not being policy lynched so yeah You have hope.

Haven't fully read it, and probably styled quite differently tho.
FYI, the style is going to be high role, though not high kill) one faction game.
This is quite similar to ww20, so if people want it to wait a while, I'm fine with that.

Is this the post you mean?
In which case I disagree - uber had said so in the setup thread.
Erebus in the Balance - a FFH Modmod based around balancing and polishing FFH for streamlined competitive play.

After reading the lurker thread, some notes:
First of all, i am the world's worst town tracker. I only managed to find the town seer
I disagree with Ichabod that the 10 post PR was awful design. I was able to get my thoughts out, but i did struggle with it because i felt like i had to get everything possible into those posts. For defending it is awful so maybe that's reason enough to hate it. Still, i felt like part of my troubles this game were changing my posting style to fit the restriction. Or that's my excuse for such a bad game
With that said... Apart from the PR, why was i suspicious Ichabod? I feel like you got tunnel vision on the PR, but maybe i just never understood your case? Meiz i disregarded b/c i thought he was the SK, but the question goes for him also.
(February 14th, 2013, 12:37)Ichabod Wrote: And with his last post, Pindicator wolf cover fell off big time. Those critics/attacks on Serdoa are really off character and incredibly suspicious. I'd post a big "Arooooooooo!!!" when replying to that post, if I was Serdoa. I almost posted the same thing after Pindicator's last post yesterday (that "I'm annoyed with bad village" one), but decided not to.
That was all stress. Your attack super stressed me out, and then finding out that you had taunted the same targets i was trying to track 2 nights in a row... There's a reason i had a Wheatley clip ready for you:
And the Azza suicide was demoralizing for me. Because i was done at that point, i was just emotionally spent. Oh, now you have 3 posts and you have to defend another 24hrs. I had a few times where i deleted a self vote post because i just wanted it to end.
That was the worst part of the game for me. All the suspicion on me and i would address the questions but still the guilt came. yeah, i made bad reads but you don't lynch people for being wrong, you try to understand their thinking. Just maddening, and there's no way to defend against it (especially with 10 posts)
I still don't get the novice case. Why was he scummy?

I think with Bigger basically giving him a constant virtual hand-job Lewwyn could skip the death theatrics and say he "lol forgot because he was drunk" and still not get lynched tomorrow.
Oh wow, i was crying with laughter on reading this. You really were still annoyed at Bigger, huh Gaspar?
(February 13th, 2013, 04:45)Rowain Wrote: It is not that mislynching known players is persay bad. It is that there are too many players who don't give the town something to work. Matt is an examples for that. They don't give the town anything. Town needs talk to get reads. You can't sit back and say " there is nothing to talk about because its early and I don't have any reads". Where do you think those reads come from? They can only happen when players talk and try to get information. Reads of people don't drop from heaven you have to engage and question and yes "work" for it.
Yeah, this is a problem for village and it's also something that (at least i find) is very hard to read. Is it a scum hiding or a villager who just lost interest when they started getting pressure? I can see certain people not having "fun" when they have to defend, and then that just draws in the sharks when they disappear.
Mattimeo i don't have any regrets on lynching. Jkaen, though... That was awful of me because i didn't think he was scum, i thought they were both maybe town, but not sure on either. I switched off Molach too early maybe, but it was on my lunch break on the last day and i had convinced myself that it was between Lewwyn and Jkaen at that point and nobody would go for a third target. Also: i suck under any kind of deadline pressure. See WW16 (or whatever one it was that Meiz and Gaspar got me to swap off Gaspar). When i don't second guess myself i usually do better, like WW19 when i intentionally ignored all my second guessing.
It was pretty sad that i was the first (in game) person to think of the mass destractor claim. I had to google distractor b/c i'm still not familiar with what the roles are in this game.

I wondered if that was why Bigger died!
