Not much going on here.
A bit of scouting. This may have to be a revised City 3, if there's any food over there. Frustrating that we may not be able to tell that until we land a settler over there. Maybe that should be city 4 or so. Definitely want that before any run at the HG (I know, I know, I promised no early wonders )
Demographics coming along as planned. It was 23, not 21 for Sian's GNP (21 would be just a regular pre-req tech since he's creative and working a commerce tile). Everyone's GNP went up to 19 this past turn, as Yuris125 and Gaspadore (and I) finished our expansive workers at EOT and auto-switched to the 3/0/1 tile.
Worker will put 1t into farming the FP next turn, before pasturing the cows. I expect that is also what Yuri will do, while Gaspadore's worker will just hang out (since he only has Fishing, Hunting and Mining). Maybe he will go mine something?

Turn 8 report. First let's talk tech.
Yuris: Finished Animal Husbandry at EOT
Your mom (me): Same
Pindicator: I assume also the same, but he plays after me so we'll check that out next turn
Sian: Researched Agriculture at EOT5. GNP would indicate he is now on Animal Husbandry, which if I'm calculating right, should take an extra 7 turns and be done at EOT12.
Gaspadore: The only civ that did not have the option to start AH at Turn 0, he teched Hunting at EOT3, and my guess is that he is now on AH, which should complete at EOT11.

And where are the horses?
Definitely looking like that has to be city 3 then - right on the plains hill. Worst case it can share the wheat with City 2, and hopefully there's some food there. Definite Moai city IMO

So we are still running into the problem of border expansions. I'm not ruling out a run at Polytheism or Judaism here after Fishing -> Pottery. I'd need to go all the way up to Monotheism to do much good anyways, since I'm Spiritual and not going to be building a monastery any time soon.
Have to see if anybody else prioritizes religion.

By the way, the reason why the resource bubbles are not visible near the bottom of the screen is that normally the interface is there. When you hide the interface Civ4 doesn't check for that when determining whether or not to show the resource bubble for a given tile.

Ah interesting. I did not know that - thanks!

Turn 9 back around. Worker canceled farm build and started the pasture. As expected, Pindicator's score also rose to 37 points this turn, signalling that he too went for Animal Husbandry.
One interesting thing from the demographics is that someone has 2 food and 4 prod. I see 2 possibilities there:
1) Someone (likely one of the other Expansive folks) is building another worker.
2) Someone (would have to be Gaspadore or Pindicator) is working the PFH to get out a quick workboat. I'm going to check my last save to see if this was the case then as well.
I wouldn't think that Pindicator would be doing it, because he should still be on his first worker, since he's not expansive.

Checked my save from last turn and it was there too. 2 turns ago nobody was working max hammers, so either Yuri or Gaspadore are building a 2nd worker, or Gaspadore is building a workboat.
WB could make sense if you really are trying to get exploration / circumnav.

Interesting note while I was noodling along on the test save:
If I connect the 2nd city site to the trade network BEFORE I settle the 2nd city (by roading to it), I get the trade routes that same turn, vs. if I settle before making the road, I DON'T get the trade routes for it, which costs me 2 commerce (and 3 beakers)
