You do have a long established track history of inconsistency and disappearing from SGs and PBEMs. Are you sure you can commit to a turn-a-day game?

I tried out the PBEM program with oledavy, and yeah it doesn't work with his mac version of Civ V. But I looked it up after he left and civfanatics says you can download the pc version if you bought it for mac or vice versa; I hope this is correct for whatever Dave has. If not he's going to look into getting a windows version.

The PBEM program works well, it's really slick.

I also talked about number of players with him, he said 5-6, and I said 4-5. I really don't want this game to bog down. So I think 5.

The game is on Steam. You can download it however many times you want on however many computers you want. Just let Oledavy install Steam on his Windows-partition and you're all good to go.

Rules draft

Default settings except:
* Pangaea
* Small
* Quick
* 5 players / 10 city states
* King difficulty (Doesn't matter much so I just decided it. Go me.)

Setup:
We will pick civs in reverse player order. France, and DLC civs, are banned.

Other Rules:
* Play in good faith.
* AI Diplo, Civ V style. You can make any trades you like in-game. All communication must be done in the Public Denouncing Thread. You aren't allowed to be nice, or cooperative, or friendly, or at all positive in this thread, and you may absolutely not negotiate anything. Just be selfish and distrustful and antagonistic and backstabby. Imagine you are roleplaying a Civ V AI from when the game was released. (Note: This doesn't mean you have to roleplay the AI when actually making in-game deals and e.g. spend all your money on a single luxury. It also doesn't mean you should actually hate the other players, just the empires they control.)
* Report! Yes it's work, yes you are busy, but Ms. Beyond needs your reports.


Would everyone please post their steam nick (the one other people see) and preferred playing window in GMT? Thanks. Also speak up if you want to add/subtract something from the above rules.
