Wait until Closing Day, then post your summary, or report, or link to your report, in the Reports and Discussion thread. Closing Day is listed on the tournament homepage. Everyone posts within a 48 hour window and discussion is opened as soon as reporting begins.

Game complete. Has been for a while actually, but I forgot to post in all the confusion of returning to University.

Is there an easy way to post images, if I don't have any personal webspace? On Apolyton, they will host one image per post, and they also have some free upload space. I kept a detailed log in Notepad, and could just post that as pure text, but having some pictures livens things up.

Check out the RBO succession games at CivFanatics. They have an upload folder that is often used for storing images and saved games for succession games. Since this Imperium doesn't really have anthing to do with CivFanatics, though, you should probably not go overboard and take up a lot of their disk space. smile

I would point out that with *any* solution where you're not using personal web space,
be as careful as possible about abusing a system, and if you do put pics there, make them
as few as possible, and use strong jpg compression, clipping, etc to keep file size to a bare
minimum. If you're not a CFC participant and not looking to post files having to do with a succession
game there, I would recommend not going that path.

Some folks use pictures instead of words to show what tech they got. In my mind this is a wasteful
practice. Use pictures only when they're worth a thousand words, not to say "I got Duralloy armor" (unless of course it's your own web space, then do what you want :P ) Show a map at a point where you had a tough decision where to expand, of a battle scan, or some combat configuration where the location of ships is important, etc...

Good luck finding a place to put 'em and in reporting - and I'm glad you're playing! hammer

There are a lot of options available for personal web space. If you just plan on posting the report here, and relying on the web space to host the images, then signing up for a web service that would put ads on your web pages should work for you. The bandwidth restrictions should not end up being a problem, since you are not posting html pages.

I had originally gone with a free provider based on them putting an ad on my pages. My problems occurred when I'd run up against bandwidth limitations on the free account. That meant that half the folks trying to read one of my Epics reports had to wait at least a day after the first viewers topped my bandwidth limit.

Good luck in finding something that suits your needs.
