Lull in the game, might as well post something:
Whosit makes a threatening move: I respond in kind. Worst case scenario Whosit's Warrior moves on the grass hill forest and declares war, kicking my Axeman away from the tile. I'll still destroy it on my turn. Barbs make a threatening move: Forcing me to emergency whip the Spearman. Nothing too bad, but I also whipped an Axe in the capital, which means that costs have increased from 9 to 12 after ending turn. I might just throw the Quechua at the barb. If it wins, it gets nice experience. If it dies, it saves me some gold...
T43:
The Barb Warrior moved on the Cows as expected. I attacked with a Quechua, lost, and cleaned up with the Spear. Would have been at least 3 exp on the Quechua, pity. But that dead Quechua save me a gold per turn. ![]() Need to grow my cities to increase the unit upkeep cap. I check the power graph: Whosit is still weak. So I'll say hi to him as well: I'll back off if he shows me a real unit. Now, to the east: I have started to accept the fact that my dotmap is obsolete. A free city is nothing to sneeze at. Auster's Axxeman will have a look, but I'm not sure I want to capture it in the immediate future, I'll need IW to make it a profitable city.
RBmod means with just Sailing it's worth a happy anyway...

T44 opens with the diplo screen, Dhalphir wants to trade maps. While it would be nice to see his lands, I'm pretty sure I have explored a lot more, so the trade would be to my disadvantage. Roth goes max hammer: Switching on avoid growth next turn (and finishing the Henge, if no-one finishes it on their turn). Auster goes max food: I'll finish the Quechua next turn, which will serve as the city's military police. The inter-incan highway has been finished, and my fifth city will be founded next turn. The Workers will move straight to the floodplains to farm. Demo's: Looking solid. Weakest power is Whosit. It hasn't budged since last turn, so I'll come visit: Cheesy move, and one I would absolutely hate if someone did it to me, but come on Whosit, you're still running around with Warriors and it's almost T50. I might just pull back next turn, just to mess with him...
