Why give free help? If we can't use them and they're costing money, deny them to our enemies. I wish we could get them safe passage to UCiv, but that's not happening.

Civplayers, Apolyton and CivFr have ceased all forward motion couple of turns ago. Its just CFC moving now.
The workers will create a fort and maybe a mine and then get deleted.
The only units moving towards UnivCiv are our whipped spies. Not all of them will make it, I think.

Are we gifting the spies to UCiv? Seems like a nice gesture.
Look, either we still hate CFC and want them to lose and will do anything we can toward that goal, or we don't care anymore. If giving the workers to CivPlayers helps them in some way and maybe just maybe somehow screws CFC, seems worth it to me. Am I grasping at straws? Maybe, but we're running out of ways to be dicks to CFC, just doing what I can.

Game is down until mid next week, according to Caledorn. I am travelling Tuesday to Friday. Will request a pause.

I will of course grant that, given the circumstances of the downtime. I am looking into the possibility of doing a System restore, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. If it works the game should be back up tomorrow though.
As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. - Commissioner Pravin Lal, "U.N. Declaration of Rights"

How long do the turns take at this point? Is there anyone else who can run the mod that could play our turn while mh is away?

If Caledorn gets the game up before Tuesday, I can try if my laptop can stomach it. Otherwise I am back on Friday night.
Turns take 36hours (since CivFr does not hit Enter) plus whatever time I need (maximum 8 hours sleep).

Then everyone quits in disgust and we can put one of those Sommerstard "champion raising a trophy smiley" on all of our sigs. Perfect!
