Gavagai hopes to update this time

That way everybody has the chance to finish it, because caravals can move through enemy territory and the mapmaker cannot accidentally enable an early circumnavigation.

Yeah, that's a reasonable change, though not perfect.

When I logged in to play my turn, I was greeted with a peace offer from AT. Apparently, he hoped I misclicked my stack into his territory. The situation after I played:

Truckin was still empty, so I captured it. I left RadarLove for axes that follow my chariots and moved my main stack north. Observe a spear 3E from Truckin. AT put a city there and stuffed units into it without bothering to build a road. Now this spear will have to limp back to action for forever only to get ambushed and destroyed when he finally reaches war theater.
The road network here is generally fucking horrendous, like AT intentionally tried to make it as inefficient, as possible. There is no direct road between RadarLove and Drive or RedBarchetta. It prevents AT from moving in reinforcements but also makes it easier for him to defend in a perverted way: if there was a road north of my stack, I would be able to threaten the capital next turn but now it is not feasible.
I do not like the way this area is dotmapped but cannot really blame AT too much for this because dotmapping it properly is hard. I really want to burn everything down here and resettle afresh. BornToRun should be moved 1E, RadarLove - 1NE, Truckin - 1SE, RedBarchetta needs to be destroyed completely - a totally useless city which only controls two unique tiles. Sadly, this is a luxury I cannot afford, I will limit myself to burning RedBarchetta.

Civac is engaged in petty vandalism at this point. He "solved" the problem of unclaimed floods and clams by planting a city directly on a floodplain. The flood is now ruined forever because if the city is razed, it will turn into a desert. I think I will now have to keep this city as it is, destroy HighwayToHell and settle a new city 2S from Corn.

Commodore's border with the stack inside Crow highlighted. A lot of spears and archers - very passive setup. On one hand, I get why Commodore is doing it this way but if he tried to build my real units instead, I would not be as comfortable as I am with my invasion into AT.

Power. Still no signs of serious build-up on civac's part. I saw only one Praetorian on his territory so far.
In other news, Lewwyn is now at peace with both Cornflakes and Amicalola. Not sure what those wars were about.

Actually the floodplain will turn back into a floodplain after you raze the city. This is one of the changes from BUG/Unofficial patch

Thanks for telling me that, interesting.

AT has just made nine slaves but he is about to lose his only source of copper. Would be hilarious if he didn't account for this (most likely, he has Iron somewhere to serve as an alternative; still, a funny possibility to entertain).

AT attacked my chariot with a spear in RadarLove and won flawlessly. A mistake objectively speaking: at full health his spear actually had odds on my city raider axemen and those are much more valuable for me than chariots. But in this universe rng rewards bad plays, so I lost a chariot AND an axe on top of that.

The situation after I played. RedBarchetta is gone RadarLove and BornToRun captured. I lost three WCs at RedBarchetta (was defended by two spears) plus I had to delete one more. My main stack dwindled to 7 WCs but its task is almost complete: I only need to capture Drive and the main goals of the campaign would be more or less achieved.

No signs of any kind of offensive deployment on behalf of civac.

No detailed report today because I am pissed. I am usually not the one to complain about rng but in this war it was some fucking bullshit. I am winning but I am losing way more stuff than I have to. I captured Drive but he will take it back next turn. Most likely, I will take it again after that and, most likely, raze.

Rng keeps to suck a lot of balls. The highlight of this turn was his chariot which killed my wounded chariot on offense and then killed another chariot of mine defensively. Generally speaking, during the war I had a distinct feeling that I have generic chariots, not Egyptian UU.
I razed Drive and offered AT peace. I have exhausted my ability for offensive action here. I got the absolute minimum of what I wanted from the war but not much more.
