[spoiler] Azza Tries To Survive Longer Than 40 Turns

Next city (settler from Fry) is going by the Sian sheep so I get the culture bonus for first ring sooner. The settler I'm building in Bender will go 1N of the Crabs.

After that, I'm tossing up between 2S of the Silver, 1S of the Dyes and the grassland hill 6E1S of Bender (no "city" sign in my last screenshots)

I have 33 hammers I'll be chopping into a library next turn, plus 11 overflow (if I understand overflow from workers/settlers right), plus 9 hammers from working tiles. Going to start getting some cottages up along the river by my capital once I settle Doctor Zoidberg, which will steal the wheat.

Great Prophet will be born next turn, going to settle him in Fry since the bulbing options are a waste, I'm really not in need of a golden age right now and I don't have a holy city.

I suspect slowcheetah is making a play for the 'Mids, as he's definitely settled his stone.


I hope I didn't do anything completely stupid this turn, since I'm playing at 5am right before I go to bed.

slowcheetah has built the 'Mids, Sian has built the Great Lighthouse.

Up to 5 cities, still lagging behind unfortunately but it's still early days. Probably shouldn't have gone with the whole Stonehenge building thing, but oh well.

Do you have a settler already made for that city plant site in the east?

I'm going to build a settler in Bender after the worker for the eastern site.

I'm going to whip a galley in the western dyes city to settle the Marble and Stone sites.

I wonder if I can convince slowcheetah to attack Sian. I've offered him Copper to see if he gets the subtle hint, because obviously I don't want to say anything publically since it'll give it away to Sian.

I've just got Construction, so catapults are coming online.

slowcheetah responded with a copper for copper trade. I'm hoping this means he's going to build up, because a two-front war against Sian will be a lot more successful for me.

I've moved some of my forces out of immediate sight, so it's harder to gauge what my army is, and where they are.

When my 3rd cat gets to Zoidberg, I'm hitting moving in to hit Sian's horse city.

Everything but the warrior will move to the tile 1NW of Sian's horse city. This will probably end up with me well and truly out of the game, but I'm already behind in most categories so I have to do something before it's too late. And unfortunately Sian saw my little gift of copper to slowcheetah.

And I'm going to found a city on the stone with my latest settler.
