( Spoilers ) The Holy Grail of Threads

If I was GKC I'd want to take us out, since Cairo is less likely to be aggressive. So AH after pottery seems essential. He won't have IW by t40, but it could come soon after. How do archers fare against praets now?

Oh, and on the dotmap you're right, red wants to be 1w and I'd mark 1n of the stone too. I'm hoping that the scout finds something nice to the north because sending all our cities toward agg Rome is tempting fate..

The scout had to turn away or it wouldnt make it back in time. Too many animals. Way too many. Ill mark the dotmap correctly next time i login. And i assume the AH after pottery is to find horses for HBR to counter the praets?
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Yeah, and to camp the elephant.

Is the southern scout going to meet Cairo soon?

he's headed in that direction following the safest route.

More micro!

t31 settle city 2 - start work boat C2 works clams, Cap works gf hill, slider to 90%
t32 Cap's chop comes in, scout moves so that he can see any animals that could hit forest 3E of the Cap or copper, slider to 0%
t33 Cap starts terrace, if safe worker moves to forest 3E of cap, other worker goes to forest 2S of cap, slider to 100%
t34 Settle city 3 and start terrace while working sugar, cap works wheat+2 mines,
t35 cap whips terrace and works 2 mines, C3 works wheat, put forest under control of C2
t36 Cap overflow into settler,
t37 worker mines & other to copper, WB to clams, Cap switches to WB and works wheat/clam, C2 works clam/mine, C3 works sugar
t38 Cap works clam/mine, C3 works wheat

t39 AH comes in - the location of horse might change things. Cap works clam/wheat/mine, C3 works sugar, slider to 0%
t40 C4 works sugar/mine

Then the question is: Do we get HBR-Hunting-Archery for HA, Sailing for offshore island, Writing-Alphabet for tech speed and trading, Writing-Maths-Construction for catapults?

Is that t40 c3 instead of 4? Or am i missing the 3rd settler completing? I think the tech question comes down to finding another player. If we dont find another player, im all for the HA route providing we have horses. Writing-Alphabet for trading if we find another player. If we dont find someone in time, after the HBR route, id go for Writing-math-construction to grab War Elephants ( do we need iron working in this mod? ) Unless of course.... we can get a long NAP with Rome. Speaking of which, once we settle city 3 i think ill send a message to them. Maybe see if they are more willing to get a tech deal going.

Yeah, that's c3.

I'm imagining a message to GKC saying: we're trying to decide if we get construction next and build a load of cats and wellies. Want that NAP?

Everything is proceeding nicely according to OH's masterplan. Unless a wolf or something of that nature pops up on the black city-marked hill.. Everything appears to be going smoothly.
