I was surprised by 4 cities as well, less so by the 2 axes. It is however very common to overrate your position after a major success.

This superdeath Worker was moved very strangely. We spotted it last turn on the grass hill 1E of the horse facing NW, and now it moved 1SW onto the PHF. Clearly some kind of evasive maneuver, though I can't puzzle out what kind of threat would prompt those moves in particular. Anyway, you can see our Settler for city #5 en route to found on T65 in the background.

Looks like SD wanted to flee with his worker north but then ran into Grillo's warrior and had to turn around.

I have no idea what scooter is thinking, but if he's tilting in a war he started then he should probably get his ass kicked too.

I don't think scooter is tilted. He just assumed that he was going to get attacked by nauf after planting the city to cut nauf off from the rest of the continent, so he figured he'd start the war on his own terms.

Not sure why nauf is confused about scooter teching IW when scooter has jungle tiles in his cities.

...or for that matter, when +20% city attack swords actually do a decent job cracking archers.

Wish Elkad/Cairo were reporting, seems like there's some conflict there.

On the other hand, Ruff landed an unescorted Settler in a logical place for him to settle, with his Galley 1W. If he were to found like this I'd have a shot at razing the city, but as I've said before I'd rather it not come to that. I'll be happy for him to grow this nice flatland city while I settle corn/fish/horse and hopefully not provoke a military build-up. I hope he finds that an acceptable compromise for now.

This is a ridiculous move by Ruff if he doesn't have a unit on the galley that he can unload next turn, since he saw that Grillo's archer was there.  If I were Grillo I absolutely declare war there to stop him from settling.

Edit: I guess he is getting some GLH routes from Ruff. Shrug.
