[PB 81] Yin-Yang transcontinental game

Naufragar is a crazy man. I don't understand why he is doing this. alright.
Has he demanded money for peace or anything like that?
Interesting that he captured Cadaques instead of razing it. You can take it back.

Do you have Horseback Riding? You could defeat Macemen with Horse Archers + Catapults.

You should see if TBS can give you any resources, since he is fighting Naufragar also.

How much move do the Carracks have in this mod, again? 3 tiles? You need to be careful not to be hit out of the fog again.

Yes. Naufragar has put all the game up side down. Dreylin and me can not hold Xist, he is got Knights already a lot of cities to make units. But if I wouldn't have been attacked by Naufragar I could have hold Xist a littler bit more. I had all my units on the East to confront Xist, and Naufragar found a couple cities with Archers. Afterwards TBS has destroyed my old city left by Naufragar.

Now Xist has conquered my 2 northern cities and will have the eastern one. He will conquer me very fast.

From the moment that Dreylin attacked me, we got stucked in techs, and Xist took the advantage. But he already have conquered another player, and in this game of 4 in the continent, that gave him a huge advantage.

Hey Gira, sorry I killed both of our games with my botched attack. Once xist had conquered greenline and with you two not sharing a border I couldn't see any way I wasn't going to be the odd man in a 2 v 1, so I tried to precipitate it when it was most favourable to myself. In retrospect, signing Open Borders with you was a huge mistake and gave you enough warning to repel me.

I'm not sure why you insisted on remaining at war even after you pulled everything back; I do understand wanting Mull wink back, but staying at war doesn't give you any chance for me to become complacent and lower my defenses.

Losing Mull was a miscalculation on my part; I could have added some more units, but I thought that I could hold once the Walls were up and wanted to position for a counter-attack ... I had forgotten that when you build Walls in a partially bombarded city you don't get the full 50% defenses, but just the same proportion of the 50% that matches the reduced Cultural - I went to from around 24% cultural to 28% walls instead of the 50% I had expected. I'd planned on the 50% meaning you would either spend more turns bombarding or set up a mutual bloodbath that I could then use my fresh troops to break your stack. Ah well.

At the beginning of the war I though I could fight you back with my Catas. But I didn't expect you having Catas so sooon. And then I saw I could do nothing against you. My research speed went so slow that I needed too many turns to get Markets and Crossbowmen. And I only had space for 6-7 cities as most. So I decided to retreat, expecting you to take over my cities and my Civ. And you didn't come. That's why I tried to keep the war state. And when Xist attacked you, I wanted to fight him also. But at the same moment, I received an incursion from the west from Naufragar with Carracks. He took two of my eastern cities in 2 turns, because they had only Archers (my units were going east to fight Xist). And then everything went down.... I was impressed about the tech level of Xist. Well in fact, trying to defend from you made me lose my first GP, and so many points into units. I guess you too. Xist took profit of this to advance in tech.

Also, I don't know why I forgot about Elephants. I didn't think about making a single elephant.

Very interesting game, though. I want to see now the threads of TBS and Xist. I have to learn a lot yet.
