FYI Ruff, I see research moving faster than your sims indicated, 12 beakers/turn instead of 11. I think you may have missed that the sheep is riverside and provides a commerce. No matter for the turnplaying yet, we just started Pottery on schedule, just starting with a bit of overflow and not from exactly 0.

[SPOILER]Ruff plays PBEM - who knew?

I am getting pbem beaker benefits because the people I know know the tech I am researching. That wasn't the case in my sim.
As you say, it isn't much of a benefit so it shouldn't change the tech path much (if at all).
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

No, it's 12 raw commerce, before multipliers. Your sim says "+11" each turn on techs. 8 from the Palace, 2 from the fish, 1 from the city center tile, 1 from the river sheep. You must have overlooked one of the latter two.
Anyway we're just researching Pottery now and not going to reach anything else before you get back. I've played only four turns.
Hmm - let's test my memory ... 8 from palace, 1 from center, 2 from fish, 1 from sheep = 12. I know - I don't know how to transcribe numbers to my write up? I am pretty sure that I made a ton of other mistakes in the write up.
Thanks for keeping the game rolling during my Civ4 void.

Back home. I have the ball. Thanks very much T-Hawk for keeping the game going.

I have graphs on Scooter.
![]() I've also done some gimp work to insert a watermark in my charts.

I've worked out a way of having an interactive map - now I can show 1 picture with quite a few hot spots and you can click on the hot spots to your hearts content - want to see inside my cities (sure!), want to see turn by turn graphs (no problem), what to see how much of the map I have revealed (that too!).

Just so you know, your blog is registering as having been infected by Blackhole Exploit Kit (type 2362). Could be false positive I suppose. Been to any russian websites lately? I am using AVG.

Just visited your site for the first time. I noticed that your navigation buttons at the bottom of the turns (next/previous) are mis-labeled starting T24/ T24 has the buttons reversed (i.e. previous links to T25), and from T25-present both buttons are labeled "previous" although they still function properly.

I guess it is my hosting people. I might move. (November 23rd, 2012, 13:55)Cornflakes Wrote: Just visited your site for the first time. Duh - thanks for the info - I will fix that.
