The capital should be growing to 12 in three turns. (It needs 22 food, and is at +7fpt working the plains cottage.) Once it hits size 12, it should probably work two scientists until a great one pops. Better to pop and settle it asap and then refocus on growth. We're close to the happy cap anyway.

Are we spreading Hinduism or are we spreading Taoism?
I have to run.

Hinduism. Taoism comes too late, if we want to get to GA right after Philo. I like also this feature. We don't had to rely on getting Taoism concerning Religion.

It will probably take us until EOT117 to get alphabet, so it doesn't speed up philosophy all that much. (We can bulb philosophy on T118, which is like getting it EOT117.) And I think the bottleneck for starting the golden age will be to get religion spread.

So I think I favor settling our current scientist, researching philosophy ASAP, and switching immediately to a hindu monastery in Bitter. Then whip Bitter like crazy, and send some workers there too to build some mines. Spread hinduism to the farthest cities first; so send the first missionary towards WIFOM and then we can debate whether or not that one should keep going to OTR.

Then we can bulb at least once towards education during the GA, and maybe settle the others.

Yeah I was unclear. I meant switch to a Hindu monastery and whip like crazy, right away.

Meanwhile, research philosophy ASAP.

We could also consider reversing things and going for Civil Service and monotheism and using 5T in OR+bureacracy and after that convert to pacifism.

Good call on the settler in HN.

The reason the new worker couldn't chop was that he was supposed to move and cottage for Ramune first. Without that cottage, maybe we should work the lake instead of the grassland forest, trading 1h for 2c.

I also didn't realize we were whipping the monument in Ramune, although I tossed around that idea earlier. I think that was a good call, but we should probably have done it one turn sooner to avoid losing hammers to overflow capping.

Maybe after putting the current overflow into the SoZ, Ramune should do a worker and 2-whip that, too? It would regrow to 3 in a single turn, being at 20/24 food and working the wheat and copper. The city only has three good tiles anyway, and the worker could add some more mines to grow onto. I think the sheep will flip pretty soon, and this city will really be rocking then.

In the south, worker F should move 2N next turn and cottage for the capital. On the turn after that, he can finish that cottage with the help of the fresh worker from Weissbier, and the capital can be set to grow in one turn.

I did play close attention in WIFOM earlier not to generate extra hammers when whipping Monument, but totally forget that in Ramune frown. Overflow to SoZ and then whip worker is good plan.

Near capital I'll plant the cottage as you suggest. After whip contniuing Galley there to get another on the water. btw. Gillette's boat disappeared so I guess they headed towards south where the island is there.

We should put some hammers into SoZ elsewhere on the two turns that Ramune is building a worker. Maybe in HN? And maybe the whip overflow in Weissbier is better off converted into failgold than invested in a galley?

Upon reflection, I wonder if this isn't our best option after all. It's hard to quantify, but I think getting into bureaucracy 5 turns earlier might be more valuable than getting into pacifism 5 turns earlier. This also leaves open the option of bulbing philosophy if we decide to do that, whereas we can't bulb civil service. (They are the same cost.)

We will still need to start spreading hinduism now, but there is less urgency if we're not entering pacifism until 5 turns into the GA.

If we go for civil service, we also have the option of quickly grabbing alphabet after that, bulbing philosophy, and starting the GA with the full set of civics.
