In our duel he asked me i razed that city with a GG. So he is playing sloppy, probably half-heartedly.
I offered peace for Arctic Circle back. I figure that razing two of his cities and getting back all the cities he took off us is a good way to end the war. Kind of like what we did to Slowcheetah
I also offered Serdoa wines for his whales and stone. He doesn't seem to have a source or a trading partner for wines right now. We'll be building walls and castles everywhere if we get this peace, so i figure stone makes up for the fact he will get extra benefit from the wine than we will from the whales.

Well right now we're getting no benefit from our surplus wine, so we should get some sort of luxury from someone.

Commodore didn't take the peace offer and didn't counter with any again. So I guess we're going to be at war for a while longer.

Infrastructure and teching just doesn't seem like a fitting end to this game. Either we call it or we keep fighting.
Which is an odd way to feel about the game, because i am really tired of being at war

So did he kill the GG? And did Serdoa accept our offer?

Yeah, Commodore did have a rifle in range to kill the GG. Sad day. But at least we got to spread that xp around to 3 frigates and we still have our nav-1 Galleon.
Commodore also moved his boats to protect his ice city and also brought up a galleon outside the ice island as well. He may have thought that we could have additional units on board. Well, that gave us a window to escape in.
Tried mixing it up a little. Figure he expects us to go south. And I also wanted to see what he had along the coast. One problem is I put us in range of anything he has inside of Island of Sins. So hopefully I don't regret that next turn.
Up north I loaded the first spy and I could move to unload it next turn.
But maybe this needs to wait until we're 1) ready to steal and 2) have more spies. Unloading these units is going to be difficult, unless we drop them off up north and have them walk southward. I need to zero in on a destination city to steal from, but it needs to be one that is Hindu. Maybe dropping them off up north is better than escorting Galleons to his coastline.
And Serdoa didn't play until after I left for work, but he did accept our trade. I've switched a couple city builds to infrastructure now, and I'll try to rotate those through as long as we're at war. If we go to peace I'll switch to 100% EP buildings.
It's crazy to say this out loud, but we're going to survive to see turn 250!

Would it be crazy to try to build Moai again? We could build it in Starbucks or something instead perhaps...
