Isn't that how multiplayer free-for-all games typically go? Whoever wins usually ends up doing so by picking up the assistance of someone who's happy to finish second. Like the Apolyton demogame where Donovan Banana helped kingmake for us.

Maybe, except if they were less stupid and attacked CFC's rear they could have a better chance to win this game. Seems kind of early for them to give up on that.

I would not say anything at this point. Do you think they will reply to any sarcastic message?
Who knows what twisted agreement they had with either of the other war parties about joining in.

And I think it is not clear who will finish first & second. Apolyton took large of amounts of prime land. Civplayers suffered the most up to now, but will likely take some juicy land as well. CFC, not so much.
