Hooray, I'm useful!
Yeah, calling it the "Dyes" spot can make it seem like the dyes are a big part of why the spot is good, but stealing the corn and getting more riverside tiles is good as well.

Turn 62:
We survived against both the lion and the bear! And we settled our fourth city! And we finished Writing! Good turn for us. We'll farm the corn first in our new city, then chop out the terrace. I'm keeping some workers in the south since we've decided to go for the Dye city next. One worker will chop that forest before the settler arrives so it doesn't get wasted.

Oh, I forgot to post the screenshot, but I did offer BowAivo OB. I was really hoping to play this next turn after them so we could move our settler through their land, but this is my only window before the timer runs out. I'm going to play, but if Caledorn or one of our lurkers notices that they have played, could you go ahead and move the scout onto the hill that they're mining? Password is

Aivo has played the turn, so if anyone is available to log in and move the scout, it would be much appreciated. I'll post the turn report later this evening.

Done. About a minute before the turn rolled.
For some reason the barb warrior attacked the quetcha over the river in the forest.

Turn 63:
I actually forgot to take a picture of the OB offer the first time, so I re-opened the diploscreen and offered it again to grab the shot. I hope that didn't do something annoying like offer it again after Aivo accepted it.

Glad to hear that! The quechua (Verin) can go check out that coastline before heading back to heal in Gov't Shutdown. Hopefully by that time the quechua who defended against the lion (Cadsuane) will be done healing and he can head out for other duties. Now that the city is safe from barbs, the full-health quechua (Gitara) will finish unfogging the north.
In the east, we've spotted more GG borders. I'm just going to use this guy (Siuane) to check out all the border areas to keep our eyes open for iron, especially now that research is back on and IW is due in 6 turns!

Turn 64:
Scouting:
We have gotten past BowAivo's land! Thanks again Old Harry for helping out with that. Now let's see who can find their western neighbor first. In the east, we've uncovered the newest Gladiator city. Their workers just completed the horse pasture. I wonder if putting any pressure on them with our quechua would help or hurt our diplo efforts.
Cities:
When the Dye city is settled, it will take Bad Econ's Corn, so Bad Econ will have to take the Cow. I'm thinking Silent Neighbor whips a library after the settler and then grows onto Scientists? What do you guys think?
Overview:
Ugh, I've just been watching that barb warrior get closer to our land near Server Problems without reacting to it. Now it's threatening our cottages and we don't have anything to deal with it. We could pull our three workers who are improving Gov't Shutdown to go chop out that Axe. It would still get some pillaging done, but not too much. The other option is to 1-pop whip the axe, but we're already suffering whip unhappiness there. Or I guess we can just let it pillage until it suicides into the city, and then re-build the improvements, but that definitely seems like the worst option. We have that second barb joining in soon, anyways. I've been forgetting to point out that marble we uncovered in the northeast. That's the first marble / stone resource we've seen on this map. Kind of makes me wonder if there is marble or stone in the fogged tundra in our north.

What are your plans for praets? Lots of axes? Are they agg?
Not settling towards them is another good move, you've got plenty of land to expand into in the west..
Oh, and I'd whip that axe...

Ok, ok, I went back in and whipped the axe. We'll take out that barb next turn before it does any damage.
Yes, axes are our only defense against praets, and yes, the praets will be agg.
