So your kill should have gone through on N3 on me right? But I lost my clone N2 to Gazglum. And I'm still alive, so we can conclude that your ability didn't work on me, right? Or did I misunderstand you on some point?

Yes something must have stopped it. I may have been blocked on night two. I'm not entirely sure how protecion on you would work. If you were jailed/docotored etc on night two then I wouldn't have been able to visit, so no wound. I'm not sure if a doctor would prevent the wound if he visited you on night 3 or not. As someone else said, it may be the armor if it had been used on you.

So no great mystery there.

Nice flavor, Jowy. lol Friend Computer has been kind to grant you such a challenging duty.

Xenu's last post does read like a delaying tactic to me. Though maybe you should be the greater man, Rowain, and just claim first, so he no longer has an excuse to delay?

At any rate, I'll put my votes on Spacetyrantxenu, just to echo the sentiment that he needs to claim.

Azarius, part of me wants to reprimand you for not claiming yesterday, even if your actions make sense as you describe them. If we knew about your claim then, we might have concluded that BOTH you and Gazglum were likely innocent. In theory, that is. Like I said, I do get where you're coming from, if you're telling the truth. But we also asked explicitly for all killers to claim, in part so that we could judge the statistical significance of being a killer. You held back information that could have helped to inform the lynch, because you feared that sharing it might endanger your own life. It's plausible town play, but I don't think it was the correct play, in principle. I concede that if I had heard both your and Gazglum's claims yesterday, I would have considered your role more scummy, since a delayed kill smells more like a scum ability. You could have got some town points for claiming voluntarily, though. You're no longer getting those. neenerneener

@Serdoa. Novice also claims that it costs him a clone of his own. I agree that those two roles look strange, in conjunction.

I didn't think it was a majority of town that had wanted anyone with a kill to claim, just a preference expressed by some people. If I had thought it was some kind of mandate I probably would have, even given my preferences not to. I'd like to reiterate that while a desire to not get mislynched factored into my decision, the main reason was that I felt it extremely likely that we were lynching a scum in Gazglum so tossing my claim in could only muddy the waters at that point.

I thought everyone must have figured this one out by now. At least he didn't try to give you orders.

I agree that it seems like a huge rift in power between Jowy and novice's abilities, which are functionally identical. Far more so than Gazglum's and my own. As Rowain pointed out, novice not being able to kill, assuming Ryan is truthful, points to him being a villager. The lack of a counterclaim to Jowy makes me believe at the very least he is probably telling the truth about his power, and who he has used it on gives him a town lean for me. Rowain, I'm not sure if scum would necessarily be given a healer that much stronger than village. Yes there are many vigs around, but the odds say villagers are more likely to be hit. With the only one clone killed in the night mechanic, unless vigs are hitting multiple scum per night then the scum could basically be immune to night kills. Off to work now.

Everyone else I found full claims for role and night-actions.
This quote from D3 summarises my ability, N1 action and N2 action fairly well:

huh, wonder who the third was.
Serdoa had two charges last night, same as Lewwyn would have tonight (which he did note).
If you want flavour, I pray to a god-like being of choice, which then blesses the chosen beneficiary with the ability to use their mutant ability two times the following night.

N3 action can be surmised from activity today, but I hope you'll understand if I refrain from stating it outright, given its effects have yet to actually occur.
