Got 38g from a hut, and found a rather interesting spot:
Popped a tech T0/T1: Mostly_harmless (Now Caesar Augustus)
Popped a tech T1/T2: Mardoc

I'll let the screenshot speak for itself:
HI AZZA!! Mr. Azza goes with Washington.
He's close as the crow flies, and I think I see a land bridge to him. But huts are west, so I'm going west.
And I'd put him in "the Happy To Have As A Neighbor" bucket.

Popped the most useless tech ever from a hut:
Masonry.
Better than nothing, but not likely to be useful at all for me in the next 30ish turns; only thing I can think of is if I try to rush Monotheism, and somehow I don't think that's likely to pay off.

And here's how this turn worked out:
Much better. And it means I can improve the Ivory now.

I'd completely forgotten events even existed:
Of course, I don't HAVE any melee units right now...
You'll notice that I'm about to finish a warrior the moment I go to size 3 - the plan is to then go worker - settler and likely grab the spot up to the north, since I can share the corn for fast growth + comes with 2 more food res (grass deer, grass cow). This land is really good, but I need to slot in some scouts/warriors after that settler and see what's east; everything to the west is securely mine, and doesn't need to be rushed quite as quickly.

I'm fine with scooter's reload - but only because it's City #2.
City #7? Tough cookies.

Instructions for T30-32:
Workers continue chopping - the worker up north needs to be ordered to do so.
On T32, Harvester #2 will go 1W and start building a road 1SE of Arrakis - Settler completes at EOT32.
Duncan Idaho, the warrior, is going SE - SE - SW
Signs are in-game.
I can answer questions if my sub has any.

It's in the thread already (chasmreigns), but I'm going to be back in time to play this turn.
