I should be able to cover for you. What's turn split ordering?

I am at war with Krill / Novice. The turn split is me / them.
Krill / Novice are at war with BGN. I believe the turn split is Krill / BGN (maybe check that with one of them).

Once BGN has chased Krill / Novice off my western cities, I expect to be at war with BGN.

I got a chat note from Krill saying "As a heads up, when you log into PB18 you'll see that both Boston and Lynn are empty. This is not a misclick."

I knew that. I took a quick look at the game state before the turn rolled. I think this is covered in my 'requests' above.

Retook Lynn and Boston. I didn't see a warrior that could reach Boston so I used a horse archer instead. Queued up minutemen in most cities.

Hope I didn't mess anything up too badly.

Excellent - thanks for covering. Did my end of last turn micro produce a bunch of minutemen or just left me with Civ4 micro egg on my face (and a bunch of out of date muskets)? I am looking forward to getting back to the hotel and checking the pitboss log to see the score increases / decreases - it is blocked at work (no fun at all!).

They all came out as minutemen, although they look just like normal riflemen.

BGN has totally pushed Krill / Novice from my land ... or ... more accurately, BGN's future land. They emptied Lynn and Boston and now Marblehead.



Here is a question ... what happens if I take Marblehead. When does the borders pop back to showing that I own Marblehead ... and, more importantly, when (once Krill retakes it) does it pop back to the situation as is shown above. My fear is that I take Marblehead, they retake it and the borders are such that a SoD can unload in Marblehead and hit Boston.

They have a galleon with Nav2 (6 tile movements) that can hit Boston through Marblehead so I have parked enough units there to hold it.

I also have visibility into one of BGN's cities ...

The culture rules are messy, but I'd say your fear is warranted.

I will be out from Saturday for at least a week. The move to Boston that started when this game started (and hence my Boston naming convention) is finally happening. As such, I will be without my desktop (civ) computer while it is on the movers truck and I am not sure that I can get it internet access when I unpack in Boston.

That said, my civ currently plays itself as it is just waiting to die. Here is the current build list ...



Coin all round to fund my tech for cannons. That should make me a little harder to kill ... but not much. BGN has infantry now. I have EP vision on his cities so I should see the end coming.

Based on the below, I would guess that I have 12 turns until he invades.
