Me too. I also wondered if it had been written by a middle school bully but I think we basically know the answer to that too.
Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis |

Turn 032
We joined the ranks of the multi-city club. The best part about naming a city Clinton is we won't actually won't have to put any work into improving it. All the other players will just concede on sight because everyone knows it's this city's turn to come out on top. ![]() I think it's been a few turns, so to catch up: I revolted to slavery right after finishing the settler (t30). This timed things up nicely for the workers, because I spent my anarchy turn on the first half of them making the pasture on the cows, and when we came out of anarchy the pasture finished and so we'll grow to size 3 while building our 2nd warrior. Now, finishing hunting didn't neatly time up with the worker turn so the workers both put a turn into mining the riverside hills before they pastured the cow, and now that they're done we're returning to those hills to finish up those mines. Although we waste some worker-turns here by moving onto the hills a second time, we are going to finish those mines right as the capital grows to size 3 - at which point we build another worker/settler combo. Right now I'm planning on going for Stonehenge in Clinton - which is why I'm building a work boat first. Need to grow the city so that when Mysticism finishes we'll be able to work as many hammers as possible. Bonus: the work boat will time perfectly to hook up the clams for the gold/clam city in the south.
