[Spoilers] Mini PBEM tournament, part 1

Khan settled on the marble, GE 3S1W of that, which means I can't have access to silver. I hope GE knows that it means I'm coming for him turn 72.

I got currency this turn. Things aren't that bad. I'm preparing my invasion of GE which will mostly consist of 6 skirmishers (maybe a support troop of more, but I feel like 3 galleys is already overkill for such a small lake). Also I'll be settling on the stone between me and GE next turn, ICTR will be nice.

Just the silver city. I didn't like getting cut off from silver, especially when he and Khan had the possibility of settling a city that let me get silver access.
Actually that was part of the reason why my silver city wasn't so well defended. I thought that if I settled in a way that let both my neighbors settle for silver we could have some (relatively) peaceful cooperation. They didn't see it this way, and GE (who is last in power) will pay the price for it.

Another reason why I intend to stop at just one city is that cities are expensive, and so is war. On immortal difficulty you have to take that into consideration

I admit that I'd love to raze his gems city though. Maybe even replant it where it fits best in my dotmap.

BTW thank god you put 2 clams by the island I just settled, because one of them is currently in GE's silver city's BFC. Without the food it would be a terrible island city

I started the great lighthouse, it should be pretty good considering how many coastal cities I have.

I didn't attack because GE now has 2 HAs in his city, in addition to 4 bowmen. There's no way I can get through that easily so I'm going to wait for a better time. Meanwhile I'm building markets everywhere for +2 happiness (+3 once I get calendar, +4 once I get optics). Also, I'm going to start a golden age next turn (I got a GP this turn). I want to tech MC and monarchy before it runs out, which will be possible with enough wealth builds.

Techs needed during the GA are : MC (2t) poly (1t) mono (1t) and monarchy (hopefully 1t). I had to do a few wealth builds to make sure that it's possible. I really want to revolt to HR and OR at the end of the GA (I already revolted into buddhism)

Well done. I guess you don't have many routes though as you warred with both GE and Khan recently?
