You are! And we global lurkers are here for you too! We can even answer mechanics questions, so since it's come up here a couple of times: Your tech bonus for arrow prereqs and Known Tech Bonus get divided back out when a tech completes. So if you're making 20 base beakers per turn with a x1.2 multiplier for a single prereq on a tech 12 beakers from completion, you get 20 x 1.2 = 24 beakers, completing the tech with 12 overflow, which then gets divided back out to 12/1.2 = 10 base beakers. The net effect is that there's no benefit to be gained (or lost) by overflowing from a high-multiplier tech onto a low-multiplier tech or vice-versa. Since the game rounds everything down, you'll often end up losing 1 base beaker per tech, but this effect is obviously pretty negligible.

Thanks for the reports!

Really?   that makes sense - it's the way production overflow works, but I had read an article that says it's not the way it works.   Apparently, you can't trust everything you read on the internet!!!

:D  First two had to be Click and Clack, though only one is working on CarTalk.  Also, loved Davey and Goliath as a kid..

Turn 42, the answer to the ultimate question

Is, apparently, more war.  Superdeath declared on Ruff.    This is probably not good for Ruff, unless it's a phony war, but I don't know that I see that.
Whipped CarTalk, so we get our first city improvement next turn.   Overflow into an axe - I need to start building up some military.
WaitWait and DD continue to grow, OnPoint continues to work the copper.   WB in 2, which will fuel the cap growth well.

Checking out the land in the southwest with the warrior from WaitWait - I need to be able to dotmap correctly.  A little dangerous, but ruff has other things on his mind and he can't see in anyway.

Krill's power continues to rise.  He's above Mr Cairo now.   The war with GKC may end being a life or death struggle.

Mod Question: There is an option on Bug Options for Log data on graphs. That does not seem to do anything, though that may be because it's only turn 42. I'm not very familiar with it. Is that something that will only have an effect with more turns?

Huh. Ruff changed his civ name to DOA. That's not a good sign. I hope he's got his copper or is about to get archery. It would be bad if SD took him out easily.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. I will have a look at it when I'm home in about 12 hours.

Turn 43, where barbs become the most dangerous thing on the map

Also, ruff seems to have double moved superdeath, so I presume we are getting a reload.   I suppose it's possible that ruff missed the DOW?

I stop busting for ONE TURN!!  And I get this:

I think this means that a barb city has spawned on a copper?   I don't remember.    My belief is that the rules on barbs are that they can enter to attack a unit or pillage a tile now that there's an average of at least 2 cities, but they won't attack cities until there is an average of 3 cities a player, which will be awhile.

Power is still going up, up, up

With the spear and the power growth, my plan for DeliciousDish has changed some.

I'm going to finish the 2nd quechua in 2 turns and then let it grow to nearly size 3 and whip in the terrace. That way, it spends almost no time at size 1.

I have to clear some forests around delicious dish anyway, to keep a potential Mr Cairo attack on open ground.
