The main problem I see with any changes to diplo is that the diplo screen looks to be unaccessable for me.
Also in all these cases player A knows what he's getting into with those double deals.

Enrich an existing deal with text or avoiding the display should be possible.

Hm, maybe my examples were too phony. I see examples in the games where A made a single normal deal and getting into trouble.
Third example:
A trade gold vs. silver to B, B had already offered silver to C.
→ B could accept gold for nothing.

ATM we ignore the problem, but the number of trades will increase now (turn 100 reached)
If more cases occur we might inform the players about the issue. But a automatic solution may be better.
I think I can code it on my own but want arrange the change with you first.

a) We put a warning into the diplomatic window that the conditions had changed.
b) We put the missing items into the diplomatic window.
c) We silently suppress the deal.
d) ?!
So my thoughts about those options:
a) Less invasive and good as a hint.
b) How can the player distinguish between actual items and missing items? And what happens when they accept the deal?
c) Also an option, but shouldn't player A be informed about that?

Would it be possible to replace the tiny little graphic on the score table that indicates with whom you're at war? Would it be possible to go back to the bright red, easily noticeable, "WAR" text from non-BUG Civ.

Of course that can be done.

Great. I would be very happy with that change.
