Amica spent an hour in the game and when we logged in he offered us peace. I think he realized he wasn't getting anywhere against us because our borders with him were A) not lightly defended, B) Going to be more defended if he didn't accept peace. We ould have know his full intent otherwise and just done all defense, and he wasn't ready to move that quickly. Great we fended him off.

Our Empire, such as it is. Including a new city on our fur island Rakefire, a chump who overstays their welcome and takes advantage of hospitality.

You may notice a barb galley in the north bearing down on us. No breaks. rolleye

Basically we are gearing up. Getting culture back in Bobo, prepping a 2t HBR tech, another settle to whale island, some barracks and such.

Goal before the end of peace, get a few HAs in the south for mobile defense.

Let's be honest. Amica and AT are doing nothing to contain Civac. Amica had so much land to expand into and just did not fully take advantage. He needs to take this peace and when civac declares war on AT to backstab him and get some free cities, Amica needs to jump on him. Funny how both Amica and AT gifted their sole horse resource away to try and screw with us and support SD even though they actively border the runaway leader of the game. Bad game awareness.

Gavagai is goign to eat the shit out of AT who has the lowest Military in ithe game and I saw that stack of chariots. AT is going to lose more than 1 city and his economy will be trashed and he won't be able to mount any kind of offensive on Civac, probably not even a defense. Civac is both the city and land leader at 20 cities, but not only that he has MoM and he has the highest tech rate.

We can eat SD/Corn with Elephants. Get GLH. And then probably turn and eat into Amica. But I think we're going to be working from behind the whole way. One option is we get Gavagai to turn on Civac after we've eaten through Amica and border civac and can double team him. I wonder how quickly Civac will get knights and who he will eat. Maybe a bit of Amica when we turn to Amica too. There's a path to victory but a slim one.

Hard to judge from just reading your thread, but it sure sounds like civac's in a good position.
I have to run.

Yeah he's blasting.

Gav just took/killed another 3 cities for a total of 4 off AT now though. That's what you get for sticking your nose in to other people's business and not worrying about yourself!

Barb galley is chasing commodore's WB I think. Our settler will land on whale island next turn.

Moai is in the works on Muckspout. Even though its next to Amica we're gonna build it there. We're going to need to take out SDFlakes as fast as possible in order to turn and take out Amica before he gets cats. But hey we are 1t HBR.

2nd in GNP! #1 in incoming TR gold? We still don't have circumnav yet. A couple more turns since we have to go south through AT's islands before we can go East 1 more tile and finsih it... We have 2 rep Scientists being worker in Bobo, and the ability to work more to speed tech in 3 cities in a couple turns. I think we can get construction fairly quick. Cats and Eles. My Friends. Cats and Eles.

I wouldn't bother with a monument in Bobolyne.
I have to run.

I think he's making at least 6 cpt in his city and he's already had a 4 turn head start. I think we should spend the 30h on the monument and play it safe.

Once your borders pop you’ll be putting 22cpt into those tiles. With a monument it will be 23cpt.

Yeah so basically its about when does the tile flip. the monument pops the border 1 turn earlier giving us the 20 into the tile a turn earlier.

Figure Amica has 24c in the tile atm. At 6cpt in 8t he'll have 72.
Without monument we get 77.

But the tile won't flip until the following turn so Amica has a 1t window to hit the city before the tiles flip. A monument gives him 0 turns. The question is whether 30H is worth 1t of certainty...

I'm leaning toward skipping the monument and just putting more units in there.

Well if the monument speeds up the border pop, it at least makes a difference.

I don't think we're going to be able to attack Amica before he has cats. That's crazy talk.
