A barbarian galley spawned in that one fog tile and attacked my galley.
If we had lost and if we had had the settler still on board..
This city is named after Merlin's NP:
We can now build culture, which sets this and the previous city off to a faster start.
We got Music and the free Great Artist. We could use it to bomb culture here to grab some dyes or rice. We could even raze Purple Rain easily with a chariot.
However I'm not too sure those tiles are worth the trouble. We could save the artist to trigger our second Golden Age later. Or save it for more important culture bomb shenanigans.
I'm still thinking about it myself.

Well AT crumbled quicker than I thought. He could hold the capital for longer if he pulled back his units, but I don't think he will.
Probably ready for the pain to end and I can't blame the guy.
Amicalola seems to be preparing to attack Lewwyn. Good for me.
I'm still churning out CG3 Archers from the capital while it grows.
Commodore went on a whipping spree, but it was Longbows he produced. Nothing threatening.
Here's another overview. I'm not sure what to report on. Ask me if you want to know something.
Tech wise I'm thinking Feudalism, and then work towards Banking for a big boost. Engineering requiring Machinery put me off a bit from getting it early.

Which decisions have you made in the last 5 turns? (Even if the decision was to not do something)
What is your path to (potential) victory? How does Feudalism/Banking/Engineering fit into those plans?

Decisions? Nothing that I haven't reported as far as I remember Apart from a looot of micromanagement. I check over everything (every city, demos, graphs etc.) every turn.
My victory condition is space victory, has been since the beginning, and to do it without expanding by conquest. I'm skeptic whether that's possible in a MP game. So far I'm fairly happy with my progress, but I'm the clear underdog against Gavagai and Civac. The biggest setback has been the late circumnavigation, at least compared to when Commodore got it. If I got it earlier, then I would have gotten to MoM first. Getting it both for my own use and to deny it from Civac would have been huge. Now I'm quite worried that despite my focus on economy, he will chain Golden Ages to great effect like Mjmd did in PB52. As for the techs, they support this plan by being defensive and economy focused, and all three actually have synergy with my leader and civ pick. Especially the banks I want to get rolling early after seeing them in action in PB52.

Thanks mackoti.
I turned on research to get to longbows soon, because:
Even though I have scouts in neighboring territories, it still makes me nervous to see the power gap that large.

Also I think I'll create a Knight stack once I get Guilds/HBR, just to have some mobility.

Three settlers heading out for these spots.
We'll get a GP soon after the wonder, then launch a GA and convert to Hereditary Rule, Vassalage and Free Religion.
Maybe this will work out after all?

The joys of being allowed to build in peace while all your neighbors harass each other? With a few longbows in you'll appear extra prickly.
