[SPOILER] Fate/stay close (to home)

And so it begins:

I declined of course. I've changed over to catapults. Maybe I can kill his stack if he takes the walk of shame back home.

He didn't kill any of my units after the small skirmish. I'm glad to have secured Woodsman III mace to help with healing. He's actually the one who killed the barbarian at 0% odds way back.

Whip unhappiness is getting up there. It's not as bad in any other city thankfully, though we are seeing happy caps being reached. I'm using the catapults to combat that until I have the stack complete.

I snuck in a settler. I would like to take the barb city too, but spare military is difficult to find at this time.

So, things happened this turn. We are now in war with Lewwyn and Civac as well. Let's start from the beginning:

I got this offer when I logged in. Now, I said I won't accept peace, but there's a very good reason I did:

Lewwyn has joined the dogpile. He has two stacks of knights and HA's (that I can see of).

Peace with Commodore allowed me to move units to the north to fight Amicalola and Lewwyn. Fire Spear will hold for sure, but Cursed Crater is in danger:

I couldn't reinforce it because it's 4 tiles from Excalibur. Next turn, if it survives, I can shuffle defenders from Fire Spear to Cursed Crater, then add in more defenders to Fire Spear (former Shimatsuken defenders).

I offered peace to Amicalola. There's someone else I want to make suffer now.

It was fated to happen since the beginning. Look forward to it.

I also offered peace to Civac of course, I expect he'll accept and we aren't in an actual war.

Gavagai captured the barbarian city. Lewwyn has a trireme around, but no galleys as of yet.

Amicalola peaced out and Lewwyn chickened out. Civac accepted peace as well.
We are a bit smaller and weaker, but we survived!

Now it's time for a quick eco "round" for recovery. I noticed Civac doesn't have Education yet, so we could maybe Lib into Eco.
I launched a GA and changed builds to infra to get them rolling ASAP. I'll pump out military from Rikudou and soon from Excalibur, just need a few quick buildings there first.
Long term plans.. Let's say the world is full of possibilities.

Lib in 3T, bulb Eco. I should have it secured.

More pikes it is.

Except Rikudou (and Excalibur) will work on the Knight stack. Pikes from side cities makes more sense.

Civac finally got dogpiled by his neighbors. They captured two cities according to PBSpy.

Amicalola's stack might have been wiped out on the first turn.

Gavagai has a threatening stack, but Civac can kill it if he doesn't have to worry about the other front.

I don't want to knock on the dogpilers for trying something. They can't travel back in time to redo the past.

Superdeath is attacking Amicalola. SD actually has a strong stack too.
Question: What's the use of naked Great Generals in a stack?

Last turn of GA demos:

Tech wise I am planning to go for Cuirassiers and Cavalry to upgrade the Knight stack I'm building.
It can be used for defense, or if the dogpile persists, I can send them against Civac to blitz through cities.

I can't speak for SD, but those GG are probably intended for tactical field promotions.
