thats... an interesting decision..
Superdeath is Frederick OR Louis XIV OR Asoka of Native America
Throw back NA and give me a decent civ plz.

Toss Byzantium. I chose Creative for the easier border popping, so starting with mysticism was not going to be a good idea. Cataphracts are nice, but they are DIRECT target to disrupt prior to them coming onto the field due to how hard they are to counter. Cre/Ind is not the combo id want Byzantium with. Imp/org or something along those lines are probably the best traits for them.

Louis of Babylon.. not a terrible combo? Good starting techs, i get an all-around good defender for my creative-pushed cities, and while the coliseum isnt an amazing building to build.... +10% growth makes it not terrible to put in cities i guess, also incase i like health the added health is nice. Still wish it was on the Granary as before, because i have never seen Babylon as an "op" civ... but whatever.

PB74 (holy shit) Tier Meme list:
Gavagai is Huayana Capac of England
Running Fin/Ind of England, I expect Gavagai to expand and not crash his economy while going for an early Metal casting followed by snatching the Colossus out of my hands. Gavagai is a known entity here, but for those that dont know.. He SEEMS to hold grudges, and has a violent streak. However, unlike myself... he knows how to manage an empire to be able to wage war effectively.
Superdeath is Louis XIV of Babylon
I fully intend to "try hard" this game. Barbarians will ruin that of course.
Commodore is Darius of Maya
Ah, the resident old man of the PB world. Commodore is one of the (only?) people that have played in more games total on this site than myself, providing you combine PB's and PBEM's. Probably my only other rival besides Gavagai in the "please dont start next to each other, its world war X".. Anyway, Fin/Org of Maya. Lots of good stuff there. Easy to rush/stop a rush, and the best late-game leader.
Hubabl is Joao II of Korea
Exp/Imp of Not terrible UU, and Meh UB? Very curious how this guy does. Next TBS? Next Bing? Who knows!
Greenline is Justinian of Aztecs
Another new guy, running Spi/imp aztec. I expect decent things at least from any new guy that willingly chooses SPI.
Plemo is Victoria of Scandinavia
Fin/Imp of best Naval civ. Im going to call it here. Plemo either wins, or gets bogged down stupid early (pre knights)
Bing is Napoleon of Khmer
Cha/Org of Balistaphants. Bing is a character. I honestly dont know how... Good? of a player he is as he is either ruining my game by accepting a war 4 war deal via diplo, or doing other random shit. Other games he has Civac as a partner. Soooooo, hard to fully judge him. I think i have him beat if its an even playing field however.
Amicalola is Ragnar of the Ottomans
Agg/Fin Amicalola. Kinda interesting leader pick. Guessing kept it for the Fin part more than the AGG part.
Magic Science is Willem van Oranje of Mali
Playing Cre/Fin of Amazing Archers and ok forge, we have Magic Science. His recent Pb66 game showed a more wild side than his previous laid-back and micro side. Should be an interesting game.
Dreylin is Mehmed II of Portugal
Dreylin is basically the oldest one here right? Anyway, Org/Exp is very nice. Portugal is "normally" shit, but on a BnS.. i expect amazing things. Hopefully not aimed at me.
Scooter is Elizabeth of Japan
Scooter returns to play Phi/Fin of Decent mace and better UB. Scooter is SOLID. id put him top 3 in this lobby, top 5 on a bad day.

Piccadilly is Tokugawa of India
Agg/Pro India, played by one of the long-term teammates of one of the best players on the german forum. Ooof.
Miguelito is Roosevelt of Egypt
Ind/Org of Egypt. No leader builds TGLH faster, and with Egypt... why not build the mids? Solid player.
Tarkeel is Julius Caesar of Germany
Imp/Org of Late-Game-Civ. Tarkeel is one of the few that i could see building enough of a base econ/cities to make it to Germany's late UU/UB. Loved his Everquest theme in Pb66, curious what he will choose this time around.
General Kill Cavalry is Nebuchadnezzar (PHI/IND) of France
Phi/Ind... one of the new leaders. "forbidden" due to the extreme synergy of building wonders and getting more and more GPP. Not a fan outside of Single player. France is a really nice civ, if you make it to gunpowder. Musketeers + Knights are a real bitch. GKC is another difficulty to place player. I feel like in this game, if i dont get warrior rushed i can beat him.
GT is Kublai Khan of Zululand
Agg/Cre (one of my favorites) of fast spears/good barracks. I dont know/remember GT at all, so i cannot comment on his skill.
Pindicator is Zara Yaqob of Sumeria
Cre/Org (best combo) of MostlyBetter Axes and Cheaper/Faster Courthouses. Pindi is a pretty good player. Top 5-6 in the lobby.
Xist10 is Wang Kon of Rome
Pro/Fin of Stupid OP swords, and ... they have a UB? lol.. Player is, frankly... not the best. From what ive seen on the German forum alone... i think he is the first to die.
Donovan Zoi is Suryvarman II of Inca
Cre/Exp. DZ is someone that you would have to look up to see how he has done. Jekyl and Hyde in his performances IIRC.
Any questions, concerns... Thoughts on a naming scheme that isnt sea shantys?

I don't know where you keep finding these meme templates, but the Uruk one got a laugh out of me. Did you customize all the pictures and captions for that one?
As for a naming scheme, how about your favorite zombie media, if you haven't done that before? You have a super-death theme in the thread name, after all.

Thanks for the memes and thoughts, loved the Ottoman one.
It's quite a spread of players and skill levels, hopefully the sheer size means we see more of the vets being dragged down to everyone else's level than just greens being free food.

Sassy
My go to is desserts and sweets. Though maybe in MP it's best not to make your civ sound too edible.

To be honest, i created almost none of these. All of them are a straight google search (some were in the first page or so, others took LITERALY 30min of searching to find one that fit.
Hmm.. is there even enough zombie media to fit?
hmmmmmmmmmm
