Interesting, I don't think I've ever tried wraith-form as an early strat. Only time I've used it has been on heroes. I'm always too stingy with my mana, so I miss out on a lot of powerful strategies lol!

It's definitly a great early strat, specially connected with a unit that have high movement so you can scout the world quickly. Hellhounds are great and fairly cheap, but best I think personally is going white/red/black and use barbarians and put it on a few regular cavs and spend all mana on that and then when that's done you put heroism/fiery fury as well and you have a unit that pretty much can't be countered early on by anything else than black sleep. Haven't played it properly on Lunatic and Phantasmal yet to know if it's as good there, I have won with it on Lunatic but can't say if it works in every situation. Butt it can easy give a huge lead on Master difficulty atleast in pretty much every starting situation. It cost a bit more to get heroism/fiery fury on as well ofc but it's worth it. You need to use the cav carefully and make us of it's thrown attack though by attack and move back.
