Honestly didnt think this would get moving... seeing as how i am currently awaiting to see if i get to keep my job or not (management is being a pita) i guess this gives me something to do.

hmm.. i -ahem- probably should have looked over the map b4hand like everyone else did. i also, didnt see we were playing with a nerfed sumeria. Been a really REALLY busy last few months.. Lost my job, was broke for awhile, played Ashes of Creation, had an expansion launch in Everquest, alot of health scares with the grandparents..

Anyway. All that to say, im not going to have a great/entertaining game for yal here. im beyond rusty. Not that i was a contender to begin with, but still. Im going to focus on not being food, scouting better, and overall playing a solid non-micro game. (because i just frankly, dont have the time) If someone starts up a brand new-not seen map ill jump whole-heartedly into that. Happy civving everyone.

Aight so, bing is pushing a warrior up... has been building alot of warriors/a couple metal units? AND has been dumping EP into me while not having graphs on others.. So, i guess its time to hook up copper to be safe. I was tempted to declare to see his intentions, but that could get him into an actual war-footing if thats what he was "thinking" about doing, and if we get a peace treaty.. i dont have a settler nearby to capitalize on it. Its instant-war if he tries to settle anywhere near my scout. (ignore my "pinkdot" location on the map) I feel it would be really stupid to get into a war with me, of all people, playing as an AGG-Sum.. but Bing doesnt always make the brightest decisions. 

Also, chalk up another point to the board for "god damn, this is a rather large map it feels like" Like, if i was confident i wouldnt be helping another neighbor out more.. id have maybe gone for some early HA's. But the map distance/costs are already racking up. So, im heading towards my courthouses followed by a bee-line for currency. I THINK i will do that even if Bing decides to be dumb.

Well, bing pushed his warrior forward onto the hill. i matched it with my warrior, and moved Everquest's warrior forward as an extra buffer.. i moved my scout to see if anything else was potentially coming, and only saw a scout. Now, i dont believe he is doing anything other than basically scouting my border with a warrior.. which just feels icky. BUT its bing, and he has been whipping/has power. So, i made the decision to hook up copper and get a vulture started at least. Id rather not personally die to a rush.. AGAIN.

increased cost of the courthouse UB. i think from 90 to 100? IIRC.

that's kind of brutal if you aren't playing an ORG leader. maybe justified given sumeria's other advantages though
