Any chance of some updates here as well? By the Civforum rules, we're allowed to offer suggestions and tips of our own volition (I believe), so it could be worth your while.

I appreciate that kind of relaxed etiquette allowing initiative, it can make the Civforum threads brighter and more interesting at times. I love the detail and effort put into the stories here at RB, but sometimes it's just a monologue, intelligent, thoughtful, and gripping, but still monologues. Following other's debates and communication is enjoyable and illuminating; as such, I propose it be made mandatory  that everyone plays with a dedlurker, so that we get to see some more back-and-forth in the threads 

It is also because of that desire for a convo with a teammate that I will be mostly posting on Civforum. Google translate works very well and it's probably better to keep it all in one place for my sanity. I won't have the time or energy to make reports for nearly each turn like I'm doing in PB63, much less in two places. 
However, I'm a sucker for good advice, so I'll take what you say to heart and make sure to post empire overviews at benchmark dates and whenever I need direction or a second third opinion

I completely agree, both from a reading and a writing perspective. One of the nicest things about PB59 has been the comments in the thread, actually. RB threads can be a bit lonely sometimes. 

I'll try to keep track of your civforum thread, but occasional updates (or overviews!) here = happy Amica.

It's Ramsses, which is fun, I'm already dreaming about bulbing into the Monk Wonders.
GLH, War Elephants, and Colossus are banned, plus a bunch of stuff lategame that nobody should really fuss over.
The forested wheat demands early bronze working, this many forests means double worker for sure IMO

Mining -> BW -> Hunt -> AH (unless fish)

We either settle in place or move one south, anything else costs a turn or loses the 4 yield tile. I don't know if we want to move the warrior NW to check coast or just straight North to check what's N of the fur.
We should move warrior straight north to see if there are any tiles up there worth crushing the forest by settling in place.

hooo boy... I'm not happy with this kind of map but I'll play on, maybe the midgame gets interesting
I suppose we have to trust the map makers that we're not orphaning sea food in the east

I guess new play is to Oracle MC? Spi/Ind on a naval map I can't think of a better plan. Wonder if it is worth delaying our overseas expansion? 
Mining -> BW -> () -> Fish-Sailing -> () -> Priesthood/Pottery
() representing Mys -> Poly or Medi. Pottery maybe earlier if we need tile improvements? Otherwise worker can prechop. 

() comes earlier if the second city up north needs an immediate border pop (read: Ocean Fish)

Edit: that ice placement in the west looks deliberate to block naval access along that side of the island. :thinking:
The implication is that the island is constested but there is to be no naval incursion pre Astro?

I need to check if circumnav/blockades still a thing under these rules settings

Two wheat is pretty nice for Egypt, that's something. The wonder bans are pretty awful for your pick, though. Curious to see how you make it work, regardless!

I think our two options are either trying to land religion in the second city or going sailing and settling overseas first. Settling without any new food and no border pop seems pointless to me when we could claim more land overseas and actually have a first ring food resource.

I know it goes against the instinct of immediately trying to get another build queue and snowball fast, but it makes no sense to me to settle a city that would exclusively steal the capital's tiles until monument gets built.
