Is the game down?

And....power outage. Considering the amount of storms we've been having I'm not surprised.

Reloaded to WK's save, so he will need to re-play.

@antisocialmunky - Is 12 hours under sequential less time to play than 12 hours under simultaneous?

Yeah, in practice because teams are playing as fast as they can rather than camping the end-turn until the last possible minute for possible gain.

So right now, our turns are dependent on how fast people can actually play turns rather than how long the timer is.

I'm not big of asking teams to NOT end turn even if they've made their moves since it slows the game quite a bit. With teams of three plus dead-lurkers it might make sense for at least one person to check civstats every 12 hours. It does show who ended turn, so as soon as you see, for example, speaker, sullla, and sunrise ending turn then you know it's team 2's time to play.

If Civstats is able to tell who ended turn even under sequential, can't the tracker be set up to just download the Civstats webpage and parse it to determine whose turn it is? Just determine who the last 5 people to end turn were, and whichever team has three names among those five people is the last team to complete their turn.

That's because there is no incentive to wait to end your turn. Which is why we had no problem with a longer timer. It won't be used all the time, but when it is needed, it will be a nice luxury.

Ok, so it looks like the consensus is to go to 18hr timers. I'll set that up now, but I think it won't change until the start of the next turn.

Whatever, we just need it long enough so that misses will be less often. Afterall, this is just a glorified centralized PBEM setup.

Onto team 4.

Civstats says timer is 18 hours, so I guess we don't have to wait until next turn for it to change.

Nope, guess it updates at team roll or turn roll.
