Ill go pop-psychologi here and take a stab. Sulla is the most commited of the players, came in with a t80 plan and is therefore most anctious to see it come to fruition. However he is still restrained by the multiplayer 1turn per day speed, and complaining about the slowness of turns. My thinking is that planting the district, while not speeding up the completion, feels like progress of his long term plan, and thus the correct thing to do. I think he is just impatient and has not considered the loss of the chop. I havent looked at the math on the mine he wants to make with the last charge and dont know enough on the increasing cost of workers to check whether or not it is the correct choice overall. How does VI handle stored production? Could he have chopped into a settler and switched to district production afterwards? He cant build other districts so cant direct a chop into a high cost build.

Lol, he did. Sullla, if you're reading this after the game, don't be so paranoid!  lol

He was talking about the lurker thread which only had two posts on this issue when he made that post.

Do we want to have an image caption contest about this PBEM to inflate the post count and set off his paranoia since people are actually doing things?

I really don't think that this is a good idea. Reading into lurker activity is something that is kinda unavoidable, but producing false information is basically a bunch of completely spoiled individuals trying to influence the outcome of the game. It goes completely against the spirit of the competition.
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

Are you guys too bored to start to resort to such nonsense?

The game might be a tad lopsided, but that is not for us to try and artificially influence. Maybe you should start your own PBEM.

By the way, I saw that Yuris started a science district in his capital. Weird choice in my mind, I would think that commercial/industrial are the choices to go for.

Seems like Sullla is intending to attack and kill TheArchduke's scout in his territory. Given Sullla's 3rd city, and also TheArchduke's response of buying the copper to "make a point", I wonder if TheArchduke will consider retaliating militarily against Sullla. TheArchduke seems to be aware that he is behind Sullla in development, although I am not sure if he will risk attacking Sullla (he seems to think that he has no chance against Sullla without even fighting alright )

I disagree. First: Making a lot of unrelated noise might teach the players (Sullla) the lesson that they should ignore Lurker-activity.

Second: If there is only Lurker-activity when something exiting is happening then we do give them real clues. And that is far far worse.
