Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

Paranoid: An Adventure in Extreme Fishing[Lanun Spoilers]

Nope. If I get Hyborem immediately, he will kill whoever I spawn near with ease, and probably farm up some nice xp for the Champions and Hyborem in the process. If those champions start earning some real XP they'll be almost as deadly as Hyborem.

If I delay eight turns to get mining or a dozen plus turns to get priesthood, that will directly harm the first rush.

Limping to the first few techs shouldn't be too hard though. Elder Councils, Sage Specialist and Boosted Veil temples will carry through to the first few levels of technology easily enough.

Anyway, we'll see if this reasoning is a mistake. Probably a few turns after I've summoned Hyborem when I'm complaining about having no usable tiles. lol

You could always conquer yourself and use them pirate coves and pearls. wink

Anyhow, 18 pop should result in 670 + 36 = 706 beakers. Assuming they didn't change the bulb formula in FFH, which is most likely the case.

Complex External has been auctioned off.

The price? 150 manes, at a rate not less than 1 mane per 5 turns. devil

The prospective purchasers will be showing up in the green livery of the Horselords in the next few turns. Before I switch over, I'll be deleting all defenders without the AV religion, and moving all AV units out of cities to make them easy prey.

Will you be making separate thread for Hyborem?

Yes, assuming Hyborem survives the AI!

The AI is so stupid it's ludicrous. It might actually be actively suicidal- has your game been sleeping a lot lately, missing meals, wearing dark clothing?

Instead of using the somewhat convoluted T-Hawk method of solving the problem, you might be able to get around it just be having everyone replay the last turn. I don't know how deterministic the AI behavior is- all you need is for either Hyborem or the Griffon to move differently.

AI always goes for the nearest 'blue circle' to settle, so I don't expect it to behave differently. The Griffons movements are random on the other hand and it might end up somewhere else.

Wait did AI Hyborem just DoW everyone but the Kuriotates?

So how's about an update, or perhaps a new thread?

Sheesh, I guess this game gets in like a turn a week? Won't be long now until XI passes it (assuming certain people who are not you or me don't keep holding it for 20+ hour periods tongue )
