I like this reasoning, I don't have time to build a sandbox to check timings (off on my holls next week and need to sort out a lot of stuff twirl ) which is probably a good thing as I really suck at sandboxes - it was about t20 before I had the PBEM46 one the right size even...

If no-one else has time for a sandbox I guess we need to tell Plako we'd like:

Start 1 -> Bismark (EXP/IND) -> Native America
Start 2 -> Vicky (FIN/IMP) -> Korea

p.s. Bet you we never build a university all game tongue

I agree with this.

Also, see my post in the other thread.

I can get a sandbox setup although it would be nice to know everyone's combinations. Actually already have a worldbuilder map ready (unedited) but ofc I just guessed as to which leaders are paired up with which civs. I assume we are going with Bismark of NA at start 1 and Vicky of Korea at start 2 for the reasons Serdoa gave.

Yep, I think that's what we're going with. Thanks, Jester.

Great, Jester!
Look forward to try this game...

It's possible to edit leaders and civs later on jester, but if everyone has the same thoughts as us the fin leader gets the river site and the best military / expansive civ gets the water...

I made a guess on the leader/civ combos of the opponents. Anyway, here's the sim...

You have to load the save as a multiplayer hotseat game. Since you cannot use worldbuilder in mp, I'll have to edit the worldbuilder save and restart the scenario once the land has been explored (plus add in strategic resources as they are discovered). As long as the early micro is documented, it should be trivial to make the sim match the live save.

FYI, BW takes ~8t.

Anyone has some time to do a bit of testing? Game seems to start this weekend!

Argh! No! Sorry... will be busy for the next week.

By the way Mackoti's team has more posts than we do. Come on everyone!

And I'm finally back to full action. Sorry for my inactivity the past week, but the moving of my fiance halfway across the country really took a lot out of me.
Thanks again to the team for all the work of getting our leaders & civs all figured out and picked, and an initial plan started. As for the testing stuff Nakor mention, I really don't know how to do that stuff really. I've never sim'd out plans or such like that before. I typically fly by the seat of my pants in the games. smile
